What an absolutely disgusting display of "skill" come back when you think you're actually worth something. ▼ | Axel popped his back and sighed as he let his disguise lose, reaching up to rub his ears as he sat down behind cover, waiting for the master to appear. Fashionably late, or whatever you called it. Hell if he knew. Sometimes things got in the way, and his master had a much more delicate way of handling those things that got in his way. He had... Clan master things to do anyways.
He didn't expect him to be too horribly late, so he continued waiting patiently, completely calm for once. Well, as calm as Axel could be when they were on the verge of hunting the bastards that had decided to dog pile and murder one of their own foot soldiers. They had to find them and one, get their revenge and two? Stop the information that the Yiga clan was still alive and strong, of course. His grip around his windcleaver tightened as did his jaw as he sat back and thought about the what ifs.
They knew how to handle someone who came across the hideout, but there were very few people he cared about. He quickly shoved those thoughts free of his mind and scooted up against the rock wall he was using as cover more, crossing his legs, ears open to pick up on his surroundings, birds chirping, wind blowing. It was all mostly silence when the wind wasn't cutting around the base of the mountain. |

It was rare for Masanori to take on a mission himself these days. Normally his duties consisted of directing the Yigas efforts, to cause chaos across the land, and create the condition to facilitate his masters return. Ganon, lord of evil, master of darkness, and true ruler of the realm. So long ago the Yiga had been banished from their own homes for crimes they did not commit, and so long ago Ganon had blessed their numbers with his power. Even now Masanori could feel his masters influence surging his muscles and granting him the strength he'd need to complete his mission. The complete and utter anihilation of Hyrule. But that was for later. It was a long goal, and long goals took time and patience. Ganon had waited a thousand years to take over Hyrule, he could wait a bit longer. For Masanori, however, he couldn't. He was so tired of staying in that damnable cave he called his study for so long. He needed to get out and fight, and stretch his legs. The sound of paws could be heard scaling the mountainside in massive leaps, jumping from crag to crag, before stopping in front of Axel. "Don't get too comfortable, Axel. We have a job to do. Found anything?" The commanding voice of the Yiga Master would break the silence of the area, and he was sat atop his mount -- the dreaded nine-tailed fox that was his animal summon. It stood the height of a horse and had enough strength in its kicks to smash stone, so naturally it had no problems carrying Masanori in the slighest. Sliding his left leg over the beasts back, Masanori climbed down from the creature, who shortly faded away into shadows. No point in having him around right now. Too big. He crossed his arms, and waited for Axels response. ENTER: Master of the Yiga Clan, Masanori Ryuu
He really wanted to get this over and done with... but he'd make sure to savor the kills. It'd been far too long since he'd shed proper blood in Ganons name.

What an absolutely disgusting display of "skill" come back when you think you're actually worth something. ▼ | Axel looked up when he heard Master Ryuu's voice above him, the fox's paws disappearing from his vision as Ryuu dismounted his familiar. Axel, standing to his full height, rolled his shoulder and crossed his arms in the usual manner. "Mot tracked the scent trail here, to the foot of the mountain." He grumbled out, placing his hands onto his hips before looking up at it, eyes wandering over to the trail. "The rocks are disturbed and the grass bent. Too small to be a bear, to large to be anything other than human." Usually, monsters didn't stick around on Mt. Satori, and if there were monster settlements on it, Mot would've been able to smell them. This was his best guess as to where the bastards had gone off to.
Clenching his fists, he felt the leather covering his knuckles stretch as he tried to squeeze out some of his anger. These people were getting too brave and setting these dumb shits into their place would be cathartic. Figuring he should lead the way since he was asked if he found anything, he walked over to the trail and looked down at it while using another boulder as some sort of cover. His eyes followed the disturbances up the mountain side, scanning for anybody that may be on the side or a potential ambush. If Mot led him to a goat, he'd kick his ass.
While he doubted that a bear that hungered for something other than animal would lead him to a goat, things always seemed to have a funny way of fucking up for Axel. He looked back at Ryuu and then the trail, taking the lead up it.
He was a tall man, so staying low when he heard movement became a pain in the ass as they climbed the stubby excuse for a mountain. |

[/a], immediately acted, because who fires an ambush and then stands around to see what the other guy was going to do? Really now. Dark chains began to wind up in the area around Axel. Their primary target for this ambush was not Axel, and in truth they'd have rather attempted to bind the bear, but there was no way those chains were holding a beast like Mot. "Now!"From the other boulder emerged two women, one with crimson eyes, Sheikah armor, and a spear, and the other fair with a pretty dress and a longbow in her hands, but no red eyes, a Hylian. So clearly then the Sheikah had begun to enlist help from the other races, or this woman was very close to the two Sheikah that were already gathered, enough for them to share such information about the Yiga. The Hylian immediately nocked her bow, and a smaller spear appeared before firing straight at Mot. The Sheikah woman stepped in front, where the Hylian happily obliged, holding out her arm and providing a nice and sturdy Light Spear for the Sheikah woman, who took it and laid down her original. They'd come with a strategy, the Sheikah knew how to fight Yiga. Really, it was a clever ambush at least, they'd considered the possibility of scents, clearly, having waited to lay their trap upwind where neither Mot nor Ryuu's fox could have sniffed them out. The Sheikah woman advanced towards Axel and Mot, clearly prioritizing the giant murderbear as the larger of the two threats. That Light Spear probably wouldn't be too good for Mot. The Sheikah man attempted to follow her lead, instead moving around her as he threw some of the kunai on his arms towards Mot, before moving past in an attempt to flank Master Ryuu, throwing more of his knives at the Yiga Master while closing the distance. The Sheikah woman called out "Cal, go!" As she aimed a thrust at the bear, bending her knees and placing some weight on her heels of her feet to allow for an easy and acrobatic out. Meanwhile, the ground began to rupture around the Hylian, as a great behemoth of a man burst from the rock, sending out fragments of rock and gravel over the field as the newcomer landed near the Hylian, with wild hair, marked in chains and tattoos, and a massive axe. He too began to advance, but more slowly, keeping an eye on the Hylian girl behind him. They had a Goron. Wonderful. DM Note: tl;dr for the folks or if it's confusing, an ambush was laid upwind via camo, there are four combatants; two sheikah, one hylian, and one goron. the male sheikah attempted to bind axel with dark chains before providing cover fire while moving towards Ryuu. The female sheikah was armed with a sturdy Light Spear by the Hylian female and is attempting to spear Mot, who the Hylian female shot at just a moment earlier. The Goron is tanking for the Hylian girl. Axel Hagane Master Ryuu [/ul][/div][/blockquote] A N D

The attacks came quickly -- Masanori barely had time to turn towards their assailants before the Goron burst forth from the rubble, and proceeded to stand between Masanori and the Hylian girl he saw smartly taking a position with her bow behind him. A classic tactic, really. But hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Masanori grinned ear to ear, his bloodlust already beginning to be brought to a boil. These fools were in for the fight of their lives, attacking the two Yiga like this.
Masanori waved his left arm, shadows swirling around him once more. "FUKUSHU!" He shouted, the massive Kitsune fox summoned forth to his side once more. Masanori needed no words to give the beasts its orders. Free Axel and help take down the Shiekah. The fox crossed the gap between Axel and Masanori within mere moments, and it gripped onto the chains with its teeth just before they'd managed to pin Axel down. The shadowy chains would be brought taught as the beast reared its head, and if the Shiekah were unfortunate enough to still be holding on, it might very likely be thrown into the air and slammed down into the ground. Hard. While that was happening, however, Masanori had began to run towards the Goron. Gorons were very physically strong -- this he knew from experience. But they were slow. Clumsy. No match for the speed that Masanori possessed. But as he got close to the Goron, the whistling of Kunai could be heard through the air, and Masanori turned his body in the nick of time. One of the Kunai managed to scratch his cheek, drawing his blood. "Hahahah! Very good!" He complimented. A worthy opponent was always so... exciting. A strong warrior, Shiekah or not, he could respect. Even if he'd have to kill them. He jumped back, summoning forth his Windcleaver in a poof of smoke and paper tags. A rare sight, the master drawing his beloved blade. He tossed the sheath to the side, taking the blade with both hands. "Now show me what you've got, SHIEKAAAH!" And with that, Masanori swung the Windcleaver wide, sending a whirlwind of cutting winds towards the Shiekah, while jumping back at the same time to get away from the Goron. If the Shiekah got caught in it, it would deal signifigant damage.

What an absolutely disgusting display of "skill" come back when you think you're actually worth something. ▼ | Axel wasn't fast enough to dodge the chains that shot up out of the ground at him. His given time to react was much too short. Luckily though, Masanori had called out his fox to help give Axel time to escape the binds. That freedom from the binds also gave him time to try and save his familiar from a devastating attack that'd put Mot on the verge of dispersion.
The adrenaline pumping and the long unfulfilled blood lust fueled Axel, his green eyes twitching some as a sadistic laugh growled out from his throat. Kicking his heel into the ground, hard, Axel attempted to throw up a rock wall to Jaw check, or at least stop, the individual with the spear that was going for his murderbear. "MOT. DESTROY" Axel roared out at his bear, earning back a much louder and just as primal roar from his drooling familiar.
Though there were more pressing issues also happening around them. Summoning his wind cleaver as well, he left mot to his own devices and put his sights on the others, taking count and notice of their actions and poses as their ambush moved on. The Goron would be a problem, for sure, but if he could get the light wielder down and save his bear from devastating light based attacks, as well as Fukushu, that'd be a start. Now he had to also hope there were no more countering elements in the mix for the familiars. Mot could take on the Goron while they handled the speedier enemies, but first, the light wielder and the one with the spear.
His focus turned to the Sheikah with the spear though, for now. They definitely had to go down. The arrow they fired had nicked axel and struck mot in his massive shoulder before dissipating, leaving an open wound, bleeding shadows. The small light arrow had done nothing but anger the massive bear furthur, rather than put it down. |

With Axel free and Mot released, Masanoris sadistic grin only grew wider. His heart was pounding, his mind was racing with the possibilities that his fight could entail. They were outnumbered. They were at a disadvantage. They could very well die here if they weren't careful. Perfect. It was exciting! Thrilling! Absolutely addictive! It would make savoring their victory over these petty hylia-lovers all the more sweet. Fukushu bent his knees and jumped to the left swiftly, the light arrow flying past him with no issues. The fox might be a fox, but he was still far faster and more deadly than any regular wild animal one would find in the woods. Simple arrows, even if they were enchanted, would be hard to land on it.
The Goron and the Hylian kept their distance as Masanori raised his sword, striking the three Kunai out of the air with its blade. "So dissapointing..." He spoke, rather unimpressed with the Shikahs display. For so long he'd been searching for a rival. For someone who could fight him man to man, someone who could truly excite him. He'd hoped he'd found it with this one. That appeared not to be the case. Turning the edge of his blade away from his body, he threw his blade at Fukushu! Was he mad?! No! One of the foxes tails lashed out, wrapping tightly around the blades hilt like a snake! Armed with his masters blade, Fukushu made a mad dash towards the Shiekah, firing off wind gusts at every enemy like a mad dog!
Meanwhile, Masanori followed behind him, aiming to get to that Shiekah personally. His body yearned to feel the snapping of the yigas neck with his own hands. Reaching to his pouch on his back, he pulled out two small Kunai. Small knives with which to defend himself should something unexpected happen.

I'm waiting for the call, the hand on the chest. I'm ready for the fight, and fate. Axel's eyes shot to the Goron locking on him just long enough to give a subconscious command to his bear to charge. He had noticed their defensive positions, but while the focus was off of his bear and there were no incoming attacks, that gave Mot plenty of space to build up speed. So he played opportunist and used it as a chance to teach this group why you never let a bear collect it's momentum.
With both hands gripping his windcleaver and his eyes set on the Hylian, Axel gave the blade a hefty swing as soon as he made sure Fukushu and Masanori would remain clean of the attack. The strangely forged blade manipulating the air into a weapon of it's own, aiming straight for that pesky, little, light wielding Hylian. His master was right about this, it was disappointing. He was never one to underestimate his opponents, and always kept his head on a swivel, but with the way these guys were playing defensively? Oh, it was all to obvious how long the Yiga had kept their presence suppressed. They felt almost unsure to him. Sure, they were using light, which was an all too obvious weakness to anything tied to Ganon and humanity has had thousands of years to learn about it. But other than that, they were playing too defensively. The kind of defensive that learns as it watches.
That's why Mot was charging the Goron, the massive, short faced bear running down the way towards him like he would a victim trying to run away. He was just as ready as his master to teach these idiots to never underestimate the speed and bone crushing power of a bear. As for Axel, he'd take the ranged path to strike at the Hylian, allowing him to keep close to the Sheikah woman he'd just jaw checked.
Used a ranged attack with his windcleaver on the Hylian. Is keeping his self close-ish to the female Sheikah Mot is charging the Goron downMADE BY MINNIE OF FTS GANGNAM STYLE

MOD MAGIC Keeping a distance was going to be a terrible idea with the demon fox slicing every which way with the Master’s Windcleaver, which was effective as blades of wind not only gave the enemies something to dodge but also the allies that were in the fray. Meanwhile the Sheikah woman dodges away from the gusts effectively being pushed further from the giant Blademaster and back towards the Goron, ultimately nearer to the giant murderbear. Too many windblades to be of any help at the moment as she dodges them, some barely by a hairs breadth.
You’re right, you certainly don’t wait for a giant bear to get up to speed but here he was barreling down on the Goron. As if the Goron was waiting for the giant bears attack he sides steps to Mots right swinging the giant axe with a Goron’s might at the bears shoulder while deliberately not correcting his balance and following his swing through onto his back with a roll to the rear of Mot.
Harrying Ryuu with kunai was not going to have the end result of getting a head severed from shoulders. The man faces off with the Yiga Master and the charging beast; as the demon fox charged forward the man jumps to the side of Fukushu performing a series of acrobatic maneuvers to fling himself into the beast’s side and dig two kunia into the massive fox. How better to withstand a hurricane than in the eye of the storm?
The Hylian woman wasn’t doing so great, neither agile like her companions or naturally armored dodging and taking hits from the frenzied lashing of Fukushu made intercepting the calculated attack from the blade master even more difficult. Tucking and rolling she takes cover behind a bolder, her upper arm gets sliced open, narrowly missing the full brunt of the attack and losing a limb. She didn’t hesitate though and immediately hooks an arrow to fire at the blademaster.
Sheikah Woman-pushed back by flailing windcleaver closer to Mot Hylian Woman-has moderate damage to her arm and knelt behind a boulder firing an arrow at Axel.
Sheikah Male-lends himself to his acrobatic skills and anchors himself onto Fukushu’s side by two kunai to avoid the flailing windcleaver
Goron-steps to Mots right swinging his axe at Mots side before following it through into a tumble roll to the back of said bear.
