[attr="class","ohlove"] [attr="class","lacking"] [attr="class","eyes"]✎ tag: @irok Lavi @eolet @ashei ✉ notes: git gud both were silent. there were ways for kicking and screaming. Alex shot an annoyed look at Irok, who had completely blown off his question. Great, one of those people. Might as well just call it quits now before everything went to hell, really. But all was not lost, the other Rito, quite a timid person, Alex had noticed, actually chimed in on that. "Ah good, you can at least answer a basic question, unlike the other clown of a Rito. You might want to use that light magic to pick off the weaker monsters. Numbers are the biggest problem right now. The Moblin's not the brightest, and can be kept busy until killing it would be more manageable." He was going to answer Eolet's question, but as soon as he opened his mouth she'd already run off to go take care of something else. They really needed to coordinate or they wouldn't make it.
He nodded, that just left them to briefly deal with the monsters, and for him, to deal with the monsters that were... wait. What the hell? Were they actually climbing up the building to come and get him on the rooftop? Alex deadpanned for a moment at that. Did they really think that was going to go well? Come on now, he had a bow, there was only one way that was going to end.
Sparing a brief glance to make sure none of the ranged monsters were aiming at him, he took out his bow, advanced closer to the edge, nocked a broadhead, and... fired directly down. What were they going to do, dodge? If they even tried they'd fall. With that, he just nocked another broadhead and again, fired directly down at the climbing blins. Really now. He kept sparing brief glances to the other monsters in play to make sure he wasn't being aimed at, and if he were, then to get back and get out of their sights. Really, he could deal with a couple blins. Probably. He'd heard stories about the Blood Moon, and he figured this night would put them to the test. Still though, how hard could it be?
Reaching into his quiver, he noticed a Lizalfos advancing towards a young girl who demanded to be heroic and try and valiantly confront the monsters. He rolled his eyes at that one, and instead pulled out a bodkin arrow before aiming it at the Lizalfos. Trying to help sucked sometimes, especially if this went exactly as he expected it to. He fired at the Lizalfos, hoping to snag it before its attack could connect with Ashei and save her life... or at least mitigate some damage or something as he didn't really expect flinging a rock at a Lizalfos to really work, but he really wasn't a happy camper with her. What the fuck was she doing? "Don't just stand there, you fucking idiots! Either get good or get out!" He could already tell this was going to be a shitty night. It'd only been a couple minutes and already he was missing working with Crystal.
Really, what a pain. She’d been ready… enough, at least, for an interruption in her momentum. It’d been close, as she had no way of knowing what would get in her way; a Bokoblin, a Moblin, a Lizalfos? It could have been anything, considering the already strange nature of the situation. It being a Lizalfos meant it was a faster strike then she’d initially expected, but that was the point of the shield; metal bit wood as she shifted weight from moving forward to moving backward, and she made enough distance for them to stand in stalemate. For now.
She’d seen a Lizalfos before. She thought so, at least; they tended to spring up from the ground as she’d seen, rather then appearing from around corners or from above. It was taller then her, hunched over as it was; that’d be the thing to exploit, if she could manage it. Having one’s head so far in front of its body wasn’t exactly a good thing; in an equal exchange of blades, she’d take its face while it’d get her arm at best. They were faster on the ground then any person she’d seen though…
Someone else ran in, behind the Lizalfos at the other end of the alleyway. Eolet was notable for being more colourful then anyone else had been so far; outside of the more definitively looking Rito, at least. Taller too. It wasn’t exactly hard to read her from here ‘cause of it; she was a little too unsure on her feet to be trained for this, too hesitant to move closer even though it might not have known she was there. Scrambling for a rock to throw meant she wasn’t suicidal at any rate, despite the seeming inexperience; hopefully she had a good arm.
She roared; as close an approximation as she could manage, at least, to join the chorus of voices around her; and charged, shield ahead of her and sword raised. Keep its attention. If the rock found true while it focused on her, it’d be all she’d need to move beyond it. Aiming for the underside of its head, she lashed out with her own sword; if it responded to block with its shield, she was hoping its height would allow her to slip below its raised guard and strike upwards with her shield arm.
The blade of her sword, or the rim of her shield; she was fine with either, given the circumstances. Or maybe even the arrow; not that she was too aware of that at the time, with her attention divided between the Lizalfos and the Gerudo standing in closer proximity.

While the encroaching Bokoblin and their fellow archer were slain, the chaos only spread as monster's focus kept turning towards the humans intruding on their destruction. The arrows all hit their mark and fell the red bokoblin with hideous cries. The Moblin and the Lizalfos were still cornering the two ladies in the narrow alley way, a bad decision when one was wielding a club and the other one could make minced meat out of anything not swift enough to block it. Lavi, Irok and Alex are currently free of monster attention. The arrow fired at the Lizalfos wasn't easily avoided. But since it was a weaker bow, a bodkin could only do so much. The Lizalfos took no moment to search for whoever fired the arrow that nicked their armor, and simply moved for a little more cover as he jumped over the obviously charging human, babbling to his Moblin friend, mocking the humans with them. Now sandwiching Ashei and eolet into the alley way between him and the moblin. And he stayed there, poised and ready to strike, muscles wound like springs. The human suddenly running off to meet up with the other was a surprise, what was also a surprise was hot oil smashing into the moblin, causing quite a bit of pain and staggering it for just a second. Once the worst part of the sensation wore off though, the Moblin let out an enraged roar before charging after the human once more. Now this grouping up thing would've worked out well. This would've been a good idea in any combat situation as a healer... if the one person who could try to protect you didn't try to charge one of the swiftest monsters recorded. Yes, they are closer together now, but neither one of them had a monster with it's back to them. While the Lizalfos ignored Eolet, the Moblin moved in, bringing his club down in an attempt to smash the healer's side. The moon continued to raise ever higher into the sky, it's glow becoming more intense and more monsters appearing. As it's glow intensified, some may feel a weight on their chest as the evil power grows through the night.

- Monster Total: 1 Red Moblin (Aggro'd to Eolet. Burned. Enraged) 1 Lizalfos (Thinks Ashei's charge was funny)

- Lavi, Irok and Alex are free of monsters
- Eolet and Ashei still have a damaged Moblin and a full strength Lizalfos to handle in the alley way.

Alright, so far so simple... Lavi supposed. There didn't seem to be anyone else hurt, at any rate, though with all that was going on, it was a little hard to tell. There was the Moblin still moving, to be certain, but for the moment, the cardinal-like Rito focused more on going upward. As far as a few heavy beats took him, he used that momentum to allow him to hover in the air momentarily, allowing him to flick his eyes over most of the village, see where he had to go next.
And, right now, it seemed his answer was very clearly the Moblin and Lizalfos, and the few people that had seemingly strayed a little away... or maybe they were already there earlier? Well, he wasn't certain, and it didn't matter anyway. "The bigger they are..." he muttered, really just to himself as he quickly flapped his wings once more, keeping him in something of a dead hover. Lumbering, stupid, and very markedly aggressive... and frankly, the Rito, practically by nature and especially in their natural habitat of the air, was much faster. Fast enough to rapidly shift himself into his much-beloved dive, only to arc off under the club, effectively straight into Eolet who was otherwise right in its trajectory. In spite of it, he could feel it clip his wing -- the same one where his shoulder had taken a minor cut, no less -- but still, he fell into a clean roll with the Gerudo woman momentarily before kicking himself out of it, right with his bow swiftly drawn and another arrow of light sent off right for the dull creature's knee.
"Oof!" he exhaled, unable to stop his momentum from there and landing hard on his back on the ground, just barely avoiding smacking his head into the nearest building. "A-are you... alright?" he called out to Eolet -- the one person here he'd actually interacted with before, to his recollection -- feeling a stinging through his wing. The arrow, the club, the tumble... all of it together wasn't serving it terribly well, though he was still quickly drawing another normal arrow in case the Moblin was still coming.

This was all so surreal.
It felt keenly familiar to Dani; the sights and the sounds and the twisted red tinted shadows in the distance, erratically and violently moving as if their unbridled rage couldn't wait to be released on a suitable target. It was familiar to her, and so she should be calm. But it was different too; no dull drone within her ear or a dreamlike fog to further cut her from reality. No, this was reality. The nightmare was real and happening right now.
In such a calm, happy, lazy town like Lurelin Villiage; it was hard not to let your guard down and dismiss the warning signs. Although others may not have seen it, Dani was certainly warned; her burdens had become especially heavy as of late. More episodes of descending into the corrupted alternate reality-the cursed world-. More twisted and horrific figures more frequently. She wrote it off as stress; perhaps sadness in understanding that she would be leaving her relatively safe haven and starting her journey soon. No way could it be this. Until it was.
But still, she couldn't say that just because she wasn't calm meant she was scared. This energy was something different. It made her eyes sharp and vigilant and her voice loud and demanding; barking coherent plans before her mind could even catch up to what she was saying. Only after she started heading further from the center of the town to the more isolate homes did her mind catch up. She and the chief had decided they would move as many people as possible to the town hall. It was a big building that had been a structure built to stand against a more likely natural disaster such as a tornado or tsunami. It wasn't exactly monster proof, but with no windows or flimsy backdoors, it was better than the standard homes. The strongest of villagers stood guard outside the down doors, ready to fight against all monsters that approached; hopefully, if all the people were there, they would cluster together so they could be more easily mowed down by a powerful spell or a flurry of arrows. Soon the sounds of men and women's voices calling out were only faint compared to the snarls, growls, and manic laughter of the monsters. She flexed her fingers beneath her sharpened gloves in anticipation. She would show these beasts how much scarier of a monster you could be when you fought for something worth protecting.

"So many lives, so little time."
Six hours. That's how long he had until the moon would set and the sun would begin to rise -- vanquishing the crimson energy that filled the sky and granted him extra power. Masanori looked down upon the digusting little village, frowning. He had expected some resistance, to be sure. Nobody was going to just sit back and allow their village to be destroyed -- Masanori knew he certainly wouldn't have. But this much? That had certainly been surprising. Not that he was disapointed or felt even the slightest bit threatened. Was it arrogance that he normally felt, or was it the influence of the Blood Moon over him? He wouldn't have be able to tell you. But he could tell you that he planned on ending the lives of each and every man, woman, and child that wasn't a Yiga inside this quiet little out of the way village. He had been hanging back so far. To determine if his presence really was needed. It wasn't, but he decided to appear anyways. He was bored, itching for a fight, and his blade was demanding blood to be shed in Ganons name. Casually, he just waltzed his way right to the center of the village. Standing of the soft sand, the smell of the ocean over the fires that raged was actually quite pleasant. Too bad he wouldn't be able to enjoy it for very long. A young man grabbed his arm. "What are you doing?! We need to get out of here!" He pleaded, only to find Masanoris hand around his throat. "Keep your hands off me, Hylian trash." He replied, before squeezing. Snap.
He let go. The body fell limp at his feet, not even twitching. Masanori returned his attention to the chaos of the village, and he reached to his side, unsheathing his Wind Cleaver. A gale was already swirling around the blade by the time Masanori swung. A tornado ripped through the area, ripping through thatch and wood like it was wet tissue paper -- sending debris and bodies flying out into the ocean. It had been so easy. Was this truly just a portion of Ganons mighty power? Monsters gathered around him as some of the defenders of the village charged at him, only to be batted away by a large Moblin, or speared through the back by a Lizalfos that got behind them too quickly. Masanori grinned. He waited for the so-called 'Heroes' to arrive. This would've surely drawn their attention. Let them come. He'd cut down each and every one in Ganons name. The fewer Heroes that survived, the greater the chances of Ganons revival. Perfect. ((The baddie boss has appeared, folks! Master Ryuu makes his apperance, killing a random Hylian resident of the village and blowing a good portion of it away with a single swing from his sword. He's powered up by the effects of the Blood Moon, but luckily no PC's were caught in his little display. Currently a Moblin and Lizalfos are acting as his bodyguards and are busy dealing with the NPC forces that saw him attack.))

[attr="class","ohlove"] [attr="class","lacking"] [attr="class","eyes"]✎ tag: @irok Lavi @eolet @ashei @dani ✉ notes: what did i say D:< both were silent. there were ways for kicking and screaming. Really, he should have seen that coming. The arrow plinked harmlessly off the Lizalfos's armor as Alex looked at his bow, giving it a look of complete and total disappointment. Well, he'd done what he could do to save the dumb girl, her own fate was in her hands, at least for the moment. Drawing a broadhead, he nocked it and loosed at the screaming Moblin, taking the moment of agony for the creature to help adjust his aim. He was far more confident in this shot than before. The broadhead was aimed at the creature's eye. Even taking out one eye would be enough to end it. Surely it had no idea how to deal with a sudden blind spot, especially while in pain, so he hoped his arrow would find its mark.
Regardless of whether or not it did, that was when the twister hit the area. Alex could feel the wind whipping and tearing up the place. So now they were bringing powerful magicks such as that to the field? Alex growled a little as he noted the sudden destruction. That immediately brought him to one simple conclusion. "Time to go, folks! The village is done. Let's start getting people out of here!" Lurelin village could not be saved. The buildings could be rebuilt, the crops could be resown, there were more important things to worry about. They needed to focus on getting everyone up and out of there. He looked at his companions, a ragtag mess of a mob, they'd never survive like this.
Welp, time to try his luck again. Clearing his throat, Alex paused only as he saw people fleeing to the town hall. Goddammit. "Rito! I want air support! Anyone who knows how to use a sword we need to form a ground team! Anyone who can heal, with the ground team!" He began as he pulled out another bodkin. "Anyone who charges towards the source of that giant fucking tornado, I will not help. We have bigger things to worry about and whoever is firing that off is way beyond us." And that was the simple truth, call it cowardice if they so wished, but charging that right now would accomplish nothing over than a swift death. "You can either listen to me or die, not many options here! Once we're done here, we need to get to the Town Hall."
Nocking the bodkin, Alex kept an eye on the Lizalfos as he took aim - at the Moblin hassling the girl, and fired off another arrow, this time aimed at the top of its head for a quick kill, letting the angle and gravity do the majority of the work. Hopefully they'd just be dealing with only a Lizalfos after this. The blonde Hylian was being pissy, but that wasn't Irok's problem. He regarded him for a moment before turning away. Insults would get him no where. And besides, he had no wind magic to use. He had been busy actually helping with the battle effort than asking questions. They couldn't just sit around talking while there were monsters charging them. If he wanted to take control, though, best of luck to him. He could follow along... if he agreed with it.
The change in the monster's attention didn't go unnoticed, but before Irok could go to help, an intense wind began to whip around them. He looked for the source through the screaming people, and saw a smug human standing below with a strange longsword. He would have loved to stop him, but as much as he was annoyed at the pissy blonde, he had to admit he was right. They needed to help these people, and even if he wasn't the most empathetic, they needed their help.
He gave him a curt nod, before pushing himself up a little higher. From his height, he did his best to distract monsters from the people fleeing into the town hall. He could see the moblin from before, enraged and burned, roaring as it swung its club toward a Gerudo nearby. 'Hero boy' made an unexpected dive, taking the Moblin's club out of range of the Gerudo. It clipped him, but he took it well, to Irok's surprise. Still not useless. He could see the pissy Hylian launching an arrow toward the Moblin, and he held his arrow for a moment.
He glanced back and forth between the moblin and the Lizalfos. He had to pick a target - these creatures needed to be stopped. But the Moblin was already weakened, and Hero Boy and the pissy Hylian had it handled so far. That Lizalfos needed to be dealt with, so he turned in midair and gave it a little extra 'oomph' of wind to make it fly faster to the lizard's head. Neck, head, eye, anything to strike the creature. Maybe if he could match its speed, it would be easier to catch him.
The glow of the moon became more intense, and even Irok couldn't help but feel unease. This evil presense... he wasn't much for that kind of description - monsters were monsters, just trying to survive, people could be good or bad, and that was that - but it was the only way he could think to describe it. Plot Event! // Sorry if I missed anyone, I know I did last time. >_>

The enraged moblin fell to the ground with a heavy crash, the broadhead arrow having landed spot on, putting the creature down and effectively saving your healer and a rito from that terror. As the moblin fell flat, the Lizalfos was still on the attack. Just as he had lashed out at the human, irok flew out of seemingly nowhere and took him down, head, neck and eyes. The lizalfos flailed under the Ritos hold for as long as he held it, angered. The arrival of Masanori had created mass chaos. A quarter of the village was destroyed, town hall spared for now. As the moon moved through the sky so did those that could evacuate, and they did so in panic and fear. Hilariously enough, the monsters that were approaching Danikreya were knocked down by swirling debris. There's a new, much larger threat in the village now.
- @dani Master Ryuu Alexander Elessar @irok Lavi @eolet @ashei
- The rest of the passive monsters have been taken out. Except for the Lizalfos Irok is dealing with. What you do now is up to you, help people escape or try to take on the Yiga master first
- I will no longer be your monster posts. I will stand back to reset the rounds, count down till the end of the blood moon and DM damage dealt, as well as pacify any issues that may arise.
Eolet - Minor debris damage (strike 1) Redacted and Exempt / Ashei - Gashed, pick your location (strike 1) / Lavi - minor injuries still. Pretty much moderate. its in that weird grey area.- Monsters Fell: 4 Red Bokoblin / 1 Red Moblin
- 1/4 of the village destroyed in tornado

Ah... the Moblin was falling, Lavi managed to note as he picked himself back up to his feet with a mild groan. Allowing himself a calming little breath to get the air flowing back through him after that tumble, he hurried over to Eolet as soon as he was able, reaching down to help the Gerudo woman to her feet.
"S-sorry... I hope you're not too hurt. I-I'll... meet you later, but you should go with everyone else... help anyone who needs to be..." he suggested, the Rito's eyes flicking back to the overall situation at hand. "I'll probably be there... soon enough," he assured with a slight grin, before lifting his wings up high, then flapping down hard to set himself back into the skies. She'd be fine... he was certain of that much, at least. He'd make certain of it, if need be, but for the moment, he needed to see what was actually happening now, and what that noise was. A... person? No, that didn't seem quite right, somehow. Well... whatever it was, the moon was bothering him more and more, and it was certain that these things were a threat because of it. Since they didn't seem to be moving much, though... his priority, instead, turned to the extra Moblin and Lizalfos charging ahead.
So, cautiously swooping in closer, and up higher, one more light arrow was quickly formed in the cardinal-like Rito's drawn bow, just to be fired off straight downward toward the head of the larger -- literally speaking -- threat in the form of the Moblin. "Just run!" he called out, hoping people would hear him in the midst of everything else before he quickly fired off another, normal arrow toward the Moblin... just in case. At the very least, if he could stall them... then at least the people could survive, right? Never mind that his wing was starting to slowly bother him more and more as he went.
