He probably shouldn't have come.
Never mind even just the Lynel... he'd not even noticed the other niggling feeling in the back of his mind, distracted as he was with everything directly at-hand. The weather. He had limited time, Lavi was well aware of that, but all the same, almost as soon as the creature seemed to react to their presence, the Rito himself was hopping back just to fairly quickly take to wing, buffered as the action was by the ensuing explosion from the bomb arrow.
Well, if he only had limited time, then he didn't have much to hold back, did he?
"J-just... be careful around it!" he called out in warning as he took more properly to the sky, enough so to be able to slip his bow down from his shoulder. Not a single arrow was drawn yet from his quiver, however; on the contrary, it was an arrow of seemingly pure light nocked back in the Rito's recently-acquired bow. How it would work... he had to admit, he hadn't tested it much, but enough at least to have a general feel for it, as like any bow he might use. Winds and aim willing, the arrow would find its way into the creature's horse-like hide, then a second soon to follow while it appeared he had a good enough opening. It was going to be a bit draining, he knew... but rather that than loose his light arrows after the rain started falling, and his angles and mobility were far more limited.

Lelana’s appraisal of her crew mates was cut short by the impact of an explosion and she was pushed a short distance from her hiding place. She skidded to a halt, bracing her foot into the loose dirt. She could feel the moisture in the air and felt the rumble of the thunder…rain was coming but with this boon came the bane of lightening. They would have to make quick work of this lynel or risk being fried by the elements. If it was simply rain it would neutralize the threat of the bomb arrows, however, with the added element of lighting all parties involved where at Nature’s whim.
She observed the bulkier Hylian drawing the Lynel’s attention to divert its attacks. He couldn’t last long with the efficiency the foe presented. The Goron bellowed with mirth directing the party members in strategy “…split up going around the rocks…try to flank the beast…scatter” or at least that was what she gleaned over the sounds of the Lynel’s roar and they rest engaging into action.
Lelana darted to the nearest outcropping of rocks to the east of the Lynel’s positioning while keeping close to come to the aid of her comrades. If she could time it just right perhaps she could use the irregularity of the Goron’s movement as a spring board over the Lynel’s defenses while avoiding the rear hooves. If she could accomplish this she should, hopefully, land on the Lynel’s rear haunches and should the landing be successful attempt to penetrate her dagger into the Lynel’s spine severing its mobility. It would be difficult and risky but the reward of success could end this fight before it had a chance to claim any lives.
She crouched behind the small collection of boulders, her slight frame hopefully working in her favor while much larger, obvious targets were making themselves known. She traced the grip of her hunting knife to assure herself of its positioning. She would have to be quick, precise, and undetected if her plan were to work.
“be adaptable and flexible” she breathed softly. Keen eyes darting around the arena before her.

Sebastian's eyes widened as the Lynel raised its bow, an arrow sizzling in its notch. He tensed, preparing to leap out of the way, as the arrow was launched their way. Thankfully, the arrow only hit the ground, blowing a hole in the ground. Sebastian hissed, and drew his bow, kneeling and drawing an arrow. He aimed carefully, as the warrior raced towards the Lynel.
The Goron seemed to be having fun, laughing as he rambled out the plan, before launching himself at the Lynel.
The Hylian couldn't help but to wonder how well the Rito could fly after an explosion, but he seemed to be doing alright, taking flight and drawing back an arrow.
The Zora moved quickly, barreling forward, while Sebastian prepared his arrow. A deep breath, two later, and he fired rapidly, launching several arrows towards the Lynel's face and chest.

As Lavi took to the sky and started firing arrows down, the Lynel was able to catch at least one with his shield, putting it's bow back while drawing it's weapon. The second arrow bit a good way into the Lynel's tough hide, but mostly just irritated the monster's flank as the arrow shimmered out of existence. The greatsword in the beast's hand crackled to life as it parried the Hylian male that had run in for an attack. Thankfully, the Hylian was bounced back from the force of the parry, giving the mage enough time to form a rock wall to catch the greatsword from striking his friend. The Lynel wasn't weak though, and was able to rip his blade from the stone wall with ease, leaping backwards as the Goron rolled towards him with his fist at the ready. Letting out a roar as Sebastian's arrows stuck to his chest, but caught to his shield to protect it's face. With another powerful roar, the Lynel went on the offensive and began to dash at the Goron, identifying it as the largest threat here, running towards Durahan with his sword at the ready. Off in the distance, the storm continued to rumble, but made slow progress towards the group. The battle raged on and the Lynel's wits were obviously still about it, it's tough hide still catching arrows and stones as they were launched at him.
- Daruhan Lelana @sebastian Lavi
- Weather is cloudy but tame for now. Thunder can be heard in the distance though, several seconds after the occasional flash on the horizon. A storm is on the sea's horizon.
- d4=3 Great Thundersword. Welp. K then.
- Arrows are doing light piercing damage. Hylian warrior is fine from the parry and is preparing another attack. Mage is launching ranged attacks. Healer is positioned behind the mage and at the ready.

The young Hylian grinned as he saw the Rito's arrows bite into the Lynel before dissolving away. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to notice them much, merely irritating it. He flinched as the warrior was bounced back harshly, but thankfully a rock wall appeared to protect him from a painful slash.
The Goron -why did he look so familiar? it was driving him crazy!- rolled forward, fist at the ready, only for the Lynel to began charging at him.
"Hell no!" Sebastian hissed under his breath, and readied another arrow. He pulled back the arrow, and ran to the side, yelling, "Hey! Over here!" before loosing the arrows, aiming again for the Lynel's face, and diving behind the nearest boulder as he reloaded.

Nothing? Or, no... not much. Then again, his magic wasn't all that strong yet after less than a year of total practice, and it was still a Lynel... that was probably to be expected.
For now, then, it would just have to be good enough.
Ultimately, though... firing without a target wasn't something he liked to do, nor indeed firing in a manner that might strike an ally. Casting a somewhat nervous glance to the clouds, and the storm coming closer, Lavi pushed himself off through the sky, another light arrow forming in his free hand. Flicking his wings down to push himself into a slow hover, the Rito quickly drew that third light arrow back, steadying his aim momentarily before firing straight down toward the shoulder, or otherwise upper arm, of the large monster's sword-bearing arm. Disable for the easier kill... perhaps it wasn't a true warrior's way out, but he'd not call himself such in the first place.

Damn it! He missed his shot! Well either way the beast was now hot on his tail, which is what he wanted, now if he could keep it there he was sure his friends could deal significant damage to it. Now to get the damned thing to hold still so they could get their shot. Daruhan took a deep breath. Best case scenario this was going to hurt, worst case scenario this was going to hurt a lot. He found himself again thankful that at least 2 of the others present stated were at least half way competent healers. He was most likely about to test their skill.
Daruhan leaned to the side a bit as he turned, to get a sharper angle and decrease the time taken to make this risky maneuver, there was a large beast behind him attempting to cause him great injury after all. His goal here was go quickly turn around and roll back towards the lynel, he would then bounce up, unroll, and throw himself at the beast’s chest area, yelling as he did so. If that didn’t stop the damned beast he didn’t know what could short of breaking all of it’s legs. If he failed, well he’d just have to lick his wounds and continue rolling, hoping to keep its attention. He would need to remember to turn back around to keep his allies on its flank. Assuming he succeeded however, his plan was to hold on to the monster’s chest and squeeze it with all his might. Let’s hear it roar then.

An unbecoming explitive raced through Lelana’s calculations as the Lynel hefted one of the largest Thunderswords she had seen this side of the Akkala boundaries. It was at the moment he skillfully yanked the blade from the earth that she realized she would have to reevaluate her strategy. He needed to be disarmed of the weapon before she could get any closer. Even if it didn’t make direct contact with her the electricity would surely pose a life threatening challenge and she needed to stay as far from death as possible. Her archery would have to do for the moment, her spear was not as controlable and with the Goron engaging in melee combat she couldn’t risk striking her comrade.
Either the eye or one of the hands would have to be her target and as the Goron braced his ground a few feet from her hiding place the Lynel was solely focused on bearing down upon him, thundersword in hand and ready to strike. She had to get away while taking advantage of the full frontal assault. She cocked her bow with an arrow while getting up from her hiding place, her goal was to quickly get away towards another outcropping of boulders just as the Goron began to bear to the side leaving a clear shot at the beast barreling toward them.
She didn’t have a moment to think and let the instinctual reflex guide her as she aimed at the Lynel’s swordhand and let her arrow fly. Hopefully true to its mark, she resumed her line of escape to get out of the range of the thundersword, and circle back around to flank the beast. She saw the Goron begin to role towards the Lynel out of her peripherial vision. She prayed silently that her shot had been true and he wouldn’t be faced with damning blow from the sword. As she ran she reached for another arrow hoping to strike again at her next opening at one of the beasts knees. Get it disarmed and get it to the ground. And no matter what…DO NOT get electrocuted.

So far, Lavi's barrage of arrows made contact with the beast's arms and shoulders but was failing in disarming the beast. However, it was beginning to bleed, and it was something. But he was focused on the Goron, one hoof kicking at the Hylian charging him with his greatsword. The sword connected, but the Hylian was successfully kicked away by the Lynel, taking him out of the fight for a bit while the healer worked on the wounds. The Lynel wasn't stupid though, and kept his shield covering the side of his face that Sebastian was firing at. Besides, what animal likes being shot in the face to begin with? The arrows from Sebastian's bow plinked off of the sheild, but it did take one hand away from the fight with Daruhan. The massive Goron threw itself onto the Lynel's chest and clung on, bracing for the weight was easy, but fighting and defending with it was by far the hardest thing this Lynel had done all day. Enraged, the beast fixed it's grip on it's thunderblade and slammed it into the ground, a loud explosion exploding out from the Lynel, concussion and flames mixing together in a sphere, shattering the ground beneath the monster and damaging the goron with the sheer blunt force of the explosion. Goron could withstand a lot, so the pressure Daruhan may or may not feel from the blunt damage wouldn't be too bad, but it'd be something. The growls coming off of the Lynel were that akin to the rumbles of thunder on the horizon. Speaking of thunder, the skyline would begin to darken, the flashes of lightning becoming more intense, the sun cowering behind the clouds as the storm front began to suck the air out, intensifying the winds into a heavy gale prevailing to the north. There was still a second or two between the flashes and thunder though. But the mage could be heard making call outs for the Rito to begin lowering his self to the tree line for safety's sake unless the Lynel turns focus onto him.

The Lynel was beginning to bleed, and it made Seb grin. They hadn't done much, but even just a bit of damage was good. He cringed as the Hylian was kicked away, flinching worringly. Was he okay? That had looked like a harsh blow, but thankfully the Healer was already working on it.
The Hylian grimaced as the shield caught his arrows, not doing any damage to the Lynel. Alright, new plan needed. And if this didn't work, he'd have to switch tactics. The Goron did, however, manage to cling onto the Lynel's chest, greatly encumbering it.
Sebastian gasped, cringing back as the Lynel slammed its blade into the ground. He staggered back from the concussive force, immediately worrying about the Goron. It didn't seem to be too injured, but he still worried. And it was still bothering him, why did it look so familiar?
Thunder crashed, and lightning began to land. His eyes widened, darting to the Rito. If he didn't land soon, he'd be fried!
With a snarl, the Hylian reached for his arrows. He couldn't use any specialty arrows without risking injuring the Goron, but he had some regular ones. He drew back his bow, before releasing his arrows, aiming for the Lynel's legs.
