Still, the wolves were making few, if any, moves, occasionally backing off slightly from the clumps of dirt. True to the Goron's apparent plan, that side had reached an effective stalemate... while the Wolfos, good as its senses naturally were, whipped around quickly when the Hylian boy tried to slip behind it. Perhaps merely getting aggravated, the large canine lunged forward quickly, in such a way that its claws scratched the top of the boy's shoulder, just as the blade served another cut to one of its legs. Fumbling its landing just slightly thanks to the injuries, the Wolfos snarled angrily, hardly letting such things hold it back as it pounced directly at the Hylian.

1 Quad Wolfos (Forest) (minor cuts, mild cuts to the leg)
Daruhan (mild injuries from the wolves, still in good health otherwise)

Sebastian bristled as the Wolfos tracked his movement, whipping around and lashing out. He hissed under his breath as the Wolfos' claws tore into his shoulder, catching him as he lunged at its legs. Thankfully, his blade cut into its legs as well, so he wasn't wounded for naught. He danced back, out of range of the Wolfos, and circled it as he tried to decide his next move. Finally, he would lunge forward in a flurry of blade slashes, trying to take advantage of his smaller size to land a few hits.

This would be a simple rinse, repeat procedure. Daruhan would fling dirt at the wolves to keep them back from the fight as Sebastian tackled this wolfos. One of the wolves tried snapping at daruhan’s hand so he quickly smacked it on the nose “Bad.” He said with a low rumble.

For all intents and purposes, with the Goron's actions, it was almost a wonder whether the Wolfos, otherwise too preoccupied to keep them in line, was in charge, or he was. The Wolfos itself, similarly, started forward before hovering back a little, just out of range of the Hylian's blade, and back further after another minor cut or two added to its face. Unlike the wolves, however, its hackles were still raised; it was still very much aggressive, though it also seemed to be getting tired of getting impatiently in range of the sword, its eyes narrowing as it stared down the Hylian boy.

Sebastian smirked as the Wolfos tok a few scratches to the face, but it didn't seem to not do much. What could he do? He panted, snarling as the Wolfos moved out of the way of his blade. He had no idea what to do now, other than that he needed to slaughter this damned Wolfos.
Suddenly, he would charge forward, lashing out with his blade in a flurry of slashes, and aiming low.

Continuing the attempt to shoo the wolves away from their leader, Daruhan turns his head again for a moment, watching his hylian friend fighting. “If I may make a suggestion. Wolfos are very defensive fighters brother. I would wait for it to come to you and counter." “What you’re doing seems to be working though too” he adds as he dashes forward unexpectedly. Hylians were so much more agile than gorons were.

If it wasn't one thing, it seemed, it was another... and while the Wolfos was starting out of the way of the Hylian's sword, it also warily noted the Goron's movement, offering enough distraction for it to take several further cuts. Huffing in irritation, and weakness, the canine let out one more, low growl before bounding forward with all the weight and force it could muster, aiming its teeth to try and tear straight into the Hylian boy.

Hearing the Goron's voice, Sebastian took a moment to listen, taking his advice to heart. He panted, "Alright," before launching himself at the Wolfos. The Wolfos, thankfully, was distracted as well, allowing him to get in some cuts. He danced back once its attention had returned to him, watching it. And then suddenly it was pouncing, running forward, and he tensed. Wait... wait... now! He leaped to the side, lunging forward with his blade in an attempt to strike the Wolfos' torso as it ran passed. Daruhan |

The goron watched as the hylian took a more defensive posture, patiently waiting for a moment. During the gap, Daruhan glared at all of the wolves in turn, as if daring them to come attack him before turning back to Sebastian. When he saw the lad move into his strike he lets out a bellow towards the wolfos. Baring his teeth and trying to distract it from dodging the incoming blow. Daruhan was all about a good fight, but this Danse Macabre had turned into more of a slow waltz from where he was standing.
Danse Maca... Muca... Whatever.

With that, it seemed... it was over. One more minor cut to the Hylian's arm, mind, but the sword found its target all the same. Straight into the Wolfos's side, while the wolves continued to warily stand by, leaving them without their effective pack leader.
