I am immune to you. We are both sick souls with the same disease. Yara wasn’t fazed by his challenge because it meant aiming to hit him, no she was fazed because she doubted she would be able to do it. “The worst that will happen is failing,” she stated planting her feet “but I won’t.” Resolve was firm in her voice as she took her position, more surely this time, savoring the coursing thrill of strength from the earth. She went through her motions steadily; deep inhale-pull firmly, exhale-lift, inhale-compact, exhale-aim and push.
She sent the rock flying at him, aiming for his core. The goal was to displace his weight and that would be through disrupting the foundation of his stance. She maintained the position and repeated the process again, focused and steady as she lifted, molded, and pushed again but harder. It took Jett a moment to realize that Mot was not being stubborn but had only redirected his attention to Yara and Axel. Jett stopped fussing and rested next to Mot to watch with his own thrill as Yara’s emotions conveyed over to him. He wanted to chuck his own dirt/rocks now but it seemed his sparring partner was preoccupied. She felt exhilaration rush through her as the scales of balance began to even out. Pull softly and push with ferocity. Collecting the earth was to be handled with care as to not over extend one’s capacity, while she was able to lift a great deal initially she was not able to maintain it through the entire routine. On the other hand, she could use the force she had been exerting before into compacting the dirt into stone and then pushing it with all the might she had been trying to pull. She was about to see if it was enough as the two rocks approached him. MADE BY VEL OF GS

What an absolutely disgusting display of "skill" come back when you think you're actually worth something. ▼ | Mot moved his large head to look at Jett, taking note of the Gorilla's excitement before standing up and looking at him, a silent offer to continue training if he wanted to. Mot could take hits. More arrows and swords than he and Axel could count have bitten into his hide in a desperate attempt to kill the murder bear before it killed them.
As the rocks flew at Axel, he caught each one, absorbing the shock from the blows with his elbows and shoulders, the back of his hand touching his core with every rock fired at him. Each rock was skillfully discarded to the side and his hand put back into position just in time to catch another stone. The second one drew a soft 'oof' out of him as some dust fell from his glove. He had been pushed back a whole measly inch, but he had let his self be pushed. He wasn't fighting back like he normally would.
There was no denying the rocks with rock walls, bigger rocks, pushing it to the side or simply punching the projectile out of the air. He was catching them and offering a natural amount of resistance, putting no work into anything other than catching the rocks and maintaining his stance. Looking down at the marks in the snow where his feet had scooted back, he stared for a couple of seconds before looking back up. "One inch. Is that really all you've got?" He informed her.
He held the stance in case she wanted to continue. He wanted her to. He wanted to see if she could push him back the whole foot before nightfall. "Harder!" He suddenly barked, eyebrows furrowing. "HIT ME LIKE I'M SOME HYLIA WORSHIPING DOG." Axel barked out. Yup, he was going to get her to do it even if it costed him his voice. |

I am immune to you. We are both sick souls with the same disease. It wasn’t even his taunt about the Hylia Worshiper, she honestly didn’t give a good god damn about the “religious” aspect of the clan’s purpose. What she cared about was the power and the strength that came from it, this pact with Ganon. If Ganon could make a weakling like her capable of this then she would give her life for him if she had to. No, what fired her up was the demand to hit him harder. She had bristled under his challenge, she had been applying as much upper body strength as she had and now he was demanding more. She growled softly to herself pacing as she sized him up contemplating if she should go with her instinct and go bigger. Jett was pacing back in forth in front of Mot sizing up the bear as it stood, he was massive in comparison to the gorilla. Though Jett was large for a male gorilla he only stood 5’11” to the roughly 14’ bear, but what Jett did have in his arsenal was a strength backed up with an 8’6” arm span and 500lbs of solid gorilla. He was agile enough that he could charge, push with immense strength and grapple. And attempt he did against the wall of a bear before him. Yara felt Jett’s strength course through her and she felt a vigor at the rawness of it. This experience for her was to be likened to a child learning how to ride a horse and the freedom and mobility the new-found liberty gave them. If he wanted it harder she would give it to him but it would also be bigger. Yara sunk into the position she had been primarily training in and focused on pick up not one chunk of earth but three more moderately sized chunks and she compacted them together as best she could before going for the next chunk. Now she focused harder as she held it and tried to compact it tighter. She didn’t end up with a stone like her smaller ones and it looked like a large muddy snowball for the most part. If he deflected it the way he had been with the others this was designed to explode and create a “fog” of earth that would hopefully cut his reaction time. She then pushed this with all her might and the vigor the connection with Jett seemed to be fueling. She then quickly and fluidly pulled out of her stance swing her left leg up and down into the earth, her motions shadowed some of Jetts own moves he was implementing and she just let her body flow instinctively in time with the earth and her familiar. As she kicked down a chunk of earth equal to two of her previous rocks popped up. She couldn’t hold it so she used the momentum of it flying up 13ft in the air to compact it into stone and as it came back down she then kicked out with her left leg to push it at Axel directly behind the diversion dirt.
She prepared another but with her right side this time, making sure she always stayed in contact with the earth so she maximized the energy coursing through her and her element.

What an absolutely disgusting display of "skill" come back when you think you're actually worth something. ▼ | Mot let out an annoyed roar and dropped to all fours when Jett charged in towards him to grapple his hefty body. While he did get his arms around Mot, he mostly just succeeded in irritating him. Mot took one of his front paws and reached back, falling onto his side and curling to grapple the Gorilla back as much as he could, bear style.
Axel his self let out a small, bark like snarl driving both fists into the boulder to break it. But while his vision was obscured, he was still aware enough to pick up on the other two stones coming from the earth. He could feel the quakes from them. Eyes squinting through the dust, his eyes made out two stones just in time. Trained reflexes caught both stones, one in each hand, but it was enough to finish pushing him back behind the line. Once the dust settled, Axel drew in a large breath, both hands gripping the stones until finally, he stood upright and slammed both of them into the ground.
"Maybe you're not entirely a lost cause." He muttered, walking over to Yara while sparing a glance to watch the Gorilla grapple with Mot. Once he was within his own arm's length reach of Yara, he stopped though, eyes turning back to her. His sclera were darkened, and his frown was still deep, but it wasn't out of annoyance, he just always looked like this. There was a quick smirk though, his teeth showing a bit as his mouth pulled up, scars making the smile look even more deviant as they pushed back against the movement. "You're weak." He spoke up, face falling back into a frown.
"But we all were at some point. Including me, and including Masanori." He grunted out. "These Yiga trainers here may be able to train the usual shadow using Sheikah, but they've got no idea how to reign in the earth. Maybe I'm taking pity on you because I see myself in you. I don't fucking know." Axel crossed his arms now, still looking down at her. "But if you want to grow stronger." He took another breath, seeming be working incredibly hard to say what he was saying. This wasn't something he was entirely used to.
"I'm willing to be your trainer." He finished, one hand falling to his hip while another flopped to the side. Instead of continuing staring at Yara, Axel turned his attention to the snowfall once more. What he wouldn't give to live in Hebra. But nope, it was plenty cold enough for him around the hideout, he'd have to deal. He needed to stick around. He was the damage absorption, the one with a ridiculously high pain tolerance and the discipline to not cry out in agony when it did hurt. He was the one that was to throw his life on the line to ensure the Master got an escape route should he ever need one. And he'd stay and fight until the master was safe and gone. Besides, the master was actually considered a friend to him, so it wasn't too bad a thought that he'd put his life on the line for not only their dark lord, but for a friend. A little less annoying when it was someone you liked. |

I am immune to you. We are both sick souls with the same disease. Yara had sent another rock flying shortly after the first and she had to stop to see if her efforts would succeed. Also, she was terribly winded from the sheer will power rush of adrenaline and her sides protested with much displeasure. If he asked anymore of her she was bound to break from exhaustion. She knew that this was her weakness and she would have to train against that to push herself to be stronger. She grabbed her knees breathing heavily, her whole body shook. She hoped she didn’t collapse. As he approached she looked up at him, her hair dusted with snow and dirt plastered around her neck and clung to her. She felt satisfied in her exhaustion, at least she had earned the pain she was in. His keen observation weighed on her and she accepted it for what it was. A fact that needed to be remedied. She stood maintaining eye contact, it was the only way she knew how to show that she was engaging and not being a fuck up. It was when the word “pity” got thrown into the mix that she felt indignation rise like acid in the back of her throat. She didn’t need his pity. She didn’t need him…well no that was a lie she needed to learn from him if she were to properly learn to hone in her element. Therefore, she bit back a retort until he finished. Her shoulders, which had tensed at his words, didn’t relax but she stood more at attention and the tension was displaced by a facade of composure. She couldn’t very well show that training had her weak in the knees. She was grateful when Jett made a large bellowing roar and began to back down in aggression against Mot. It distracted her from the moments awkwardness as well as her own fatigue. “We will strive to not disappoint” she said softly but firmly. It was audible enough now as the two familiar’s grunts and snarls died down leaving nothing but the quieting blanket as the snow fell. She clenched her left fist to let her nails dig in and the mild pain ignite her focus so she didn't let her legs give out MADE BY VEL OF GS

What an absolutely disgusting display of "skill" come back when you think you're actually worth something. ▼ | Axel didn't say anything else. She had accepted his offer and she had completed the goals he had set for her. As the snow continued to fall, Axel only observed her and Jett for a moment longer before walking past her, waving his hand and commanding Mot to fade into a pool of shadows on the ground, dissipating entirely.
There was nothing else for Axel to say or do. What there was for him to do though, was to go curl up in bed and mull over some things in his head like usual. Moving the training room door with ease, Axel made his way to his quarters, ignoring the looks and questions from the other Yiga. |

I am immune to you. We are both sick souls with the same disease. She watched him walk away as Jett came up allowing her to lean on him. She was eager to know what other limits her body could pushed to and if she would be able to grow strong enough to overcome them. She was mostly pleased that she had made substantial progress today and had gained a Master that would teach her more. However, she needed rest now otherwise she would be useless. She would have to practice her stance more tomorrow. As her legs finally gave out she slipped to the ground despite Jett supporting her. He scooped her up best he could by supporting her until she crawled onto his back and they walked through the training yard towards the bunkers for the foot soldiers. If anyone made any looks at the pair he snarled defensively. Let him be her strength when she was weak. He would protect her from any enemy. Once they were outside the bunker she managed to stand enough to recall Jett into his pool of shadows so that he might find his own reprieve. They were both drained and she curled up in her bunk, her body grateful for the hard mattress. She immediately fell asleep and it would take an angry bear in her face to get her to move for the rest of the night. @tag- # # # - notes MADE BY VEL OF GS
