both were silent.
there were ways for kicking and screaming.
Alex simply shrugged. Puns were one of the more simple pleasures in life and he knew that when you could die any day, sometimes it was best to just take the joy in that. Well, normally one wouldn't die any day when fighting monsters, but you never knew. Some people were just unfortunate enough to get a lynel dropped on their head without any warning and that was it, game over. He looked over to Crystal, noting that despite being a longbow, it seemed to be a fairly good fit for her. Maybe it was the right choice after all. Later they'd have to get her some bodkin arrows though, those things were great.
He did his best to put on an air of surprise at the idea that she had to fuss and fight with the bartenders to get anything alcoholic. He was pretty sure that he had over a foot on her. To be honest, if it wasn't for the contours of her Sheikah armor informing him otherwise, he probably would be wondering if she was actually a child. He didn't say anything though, nope. He definitely knew better than to aggravate something as tiny as that. He was pretty sure it was an explosive issue. Maybe something to use against their foes someday, but not something to switch on in the middle of a town. "Suit yourself." He remarked with a shrug. Really, town water was shit compared to spring water found in the wild.
Rather than going for a tavern, he instead opted to take her inside a restaurant. Really, they were in one of the busiest places in Hyrule, why in the hell would they bother with a shitty tavern that they could get anywhere else? Granted, it wasn't one of those super fancy places though with the candles and shit, it was just somewhere that you could get some food and get yourself seated. Maybe more of a cafe than anything. Still, he'd come here when he was a kid and the food had always been good. "Any place you're liking?" He stood aside, letting her pick the seating.
