Time to spread my wings Zeke simply nodded to the chores part, not really wanting to do any of that either. Well, at least it wouldn't be fighting monsters, but almost everything ran a risk of monsters now a days, the damn things were on the rise and there wasn't really much the people of Hyrule could do about it other than try to thin the herd. "Chores" He muttered, chuckling to his self. His dad's ghost was probably trying to strangle him by now.
"Hylian. My dad was a Hylian." He went ahead and cleared up. He had been busted on the Gerudo half, which to be fair, wasn't that hard to pick up. His five sisters were considerably darker than him though, and that put him to shame real quick like on the tone part. He had his fathers white hair and amber eyes though, so the day wasn't a total loss. Still a sexy beast in the end.
He raised an eyebrow and nodded his head. "Yea, I was actually raised by those birds." He explained, maybe that would clear it up. If anything, his father was not lucky. But he wouldn't think of that. Not now.

◣◆◢ | The question of whether Zeke was half Sheikah or Hylian finally got an answer to Niul, as the man himself said his father to have been Hylian. At least his curiosity on that matter was solved, and the adventurer wouldn't have to ponder about it anymore.
Once again the Hylian man was a bit surprised, getting to hear that the man next to him had actually been raised by the Rito themselves. That really wasn't something that you got to hear often. Niul nodded in intrigue, and even thought it might be fun to at some point ask a bit about Zeke's experiences of growing up within a Rito community, though he'd leave that for now. "Well ain't that something," the Hylian man whistled, and showed clear interest on the topic. Thinking for a bit, Niul realized that he was learning quite a bit of his new acquaintance, and so far he hadn't shared much about himself. He was going to change that however. "I myself can't really say that my origins are that interesting," he chuckled, with what he said being quite true. At least if you compared it to Zeke. "I'm from Hateno Village myself. Just a pure-blooded Hylian, with nothing but farmer's blood in him." He wouldn't go to too much detail, but Niul felt like what he said evened it out and should tell at least a bit of his origin.
Checking the distance till the two men would get to Hyrule Village, he could tell that they would get to their destination quite soon, but for now the adventurer would concentrate on his company. "So what made you into a vagabond, Zeke? You don't seem the most energetic or adventure hungry of people, so just had me wondering." |

Time to spread my wings "Hey now, farmers are important." He moved along, arms resting heavily by his side. "Everybody has a story to tell dude. Question of whether it's interesting to yourself or not is just how you're raised. Or.. something like that, is what dad told me at least." He moved a good sized stone from the center of the trail to the side of it with a swift kick, moving it out of the way for any carts that may come through.
"Eh, from what I remember, my old family were vagabonds to begin with." He looked over at Niul, amber eyes seeming just as bored as before save for a small bit of interest showing behind his flat expression. "I just like I needed to finally fly the roost I guess? Got tired of my life going nowhere. I mean, I'm fine and all with lazing around but I had peaked in target shooting and I just didn't want to spend my entire life, sitting around, watching my family fly around while I just got to stay on the ground and see all the same sights I had always seen. Maybe if I keep traveling, I'll find what I'm supposed to do, or something."
That was alot, and he even felt that way. So he opted to shut up for a bit and give the other male some time to react rather than push the subject away. You can't just ramble like that and just shove it to the side like you didn't just dump a bunch of words on their face.
