Monsters Monster! Monsters are wicked, evil creatures. People from every race outside of Sheikah that turned to Ganon for whatever reason find themselves morphed from their original forms. People fear them, and their new form makes it impossible for them to enter towns or travel busy business roads (NPCs will auto aggro to your character if you're spotted in any populated area). People turned monster can not birth monster children, so there will never be a 'second generation monster' by genetics. The changes that these people go through vary greatly, depending on their race, but there are some noticeable patterns in them. They all become more aggressive, experience a bigger appetite and grow in size and strength. There is no way to revert back to what you were before you turned. Once you become Ganon's you're his.Combat!: All races turned monster can wield any weapon and wear any clothes! But there's exceptions about everything else for each race. There are notable things for certain races though, for balance change, and will be listed below with what changes! - Sheikah become Yiga and should be apped as such.
- Goron lose the ability to learn spells in entirety due to their raw strength and even larger builds.
- Zora lose speed in water but gain tougher skin and much more physical power.
- Rito lose some flight agility but gain stronger bones and a lot more physical power.
- Deku lose their friendship with animals but become more physically powerful.
[/font] If you app a Hylian or any other race as a Monster, there are some general things that remain the same throughout most monsters. They're completely optional but most monsters undergo a change in height, physical characteristics and weight. They're not as adept with magic and their spell damage is halved. They also do not recieve blood moon buffs like the Yiga do, but may experience a rise in aggression! Some common physical changes are things such as Zora may lose their fins, Rito may become heavier in build and Deku may nearly triple in size (Still not that big...)! But Gorons still can not swim and Deku still can't come near fire! The sky is the limit with monsters, but we ask you keep it reasonable! Should you have any questions on making a monster, feel free to contact staff and we'll happily answer any questions you may have! [/ul] [/div] (C) ELLIE @ GANGNAM STYLE [/div]

Combat and Bounty Rules If your character is strong enough to hold their own against another race pretty well, don't abuse that knowledge, and if you're character is too weak and you don't want to put them in a situation where they get their butts kicked, please pay attention to who you're plotting with. It is mostly based on an honor system, and the only people who can kill characters are admins! And we'll only do that if someone doesn't stop god-moding or meta gaming. Seriously. Don't try to kill people's characters. A mod will always control the big bad monster(s) in boss rush threads and other event threads. You will be given control of all monsters but the big baddie in those. If you would wish for the mod to take control of the big baddie in your bounties, all you have to do is ask! And about those bounties? If you take your time and RP your character well, you'll have a chance to get better rewards. Elemental Proficiency Almost every race has an element that they're a touch more proficient in using than others. Their natural born element is actually this exactly. This means the spells they use will pack a bit more of a punch than usual. The buffs go as so. Anything that would do minor damage will do moderate, and so on and so forth. This applies to both damage and healing and will never exceed major. The size of spells range and radius will expand by just a little bit as well. It's not entirely noticeable though. Hylian = Light / Gerudo = Lightning / Sheikah = Shadow / Yiga = Shadow / Rito = Wind / Zora = Water / Goron = Earth / Deku = Light Elemental Cantrips Every element that's practiced will allow for a character to take on several adaptations from the magic. These stack for Hylians! Meaning if a Hylian learns the element, they can also benefit from these cantrips. These are mostly for flavor and can be used with no restrictions on how long they can be used. Consider them like a passive effect that brings more continuity into the site's magic system. But this passive effect can also be made stronger through buying higher leveled spells in the shop! - Fire has a slightly higher body temp and can withstand hot days like its nothing! They can also summon small fires and light campfires with ease!
- Water can hold their breath a little longer and swim a little faster!
- Wind users can jump a little higher and are lighter on their feet!
- Earth users can punch dents into stone walls and float/fiddle with pebbles!
- Light makes you less susceptible to being stunned by bright lights/sudden exposure to light. So walking out of a dark area to a bright and sunny day won't bother them! They can also be seen creating shimmers and prisms of light for fun!
- Shadow can see better in the dark than others and make minor shadows flicker!
Combat Inventory The rules here are not very tight, but when it comes to what weapons you can take with you, keep it realistic! No 20 bow, 10 swords, 5 greatsword armories like in the game! (C) ELLIE @ GANGNAM STYLE

Pets Non-monster and Monster When it comes to pets, you can have normal pets, yes. Non-monster birds, dogs, cats, horses, cattle, monkeys and what not. But when it comes to monster pets, there's a few that are allowed, and if you want one, you have to quest for them. - The only monster based pets you can have as of right now are Wolves, Coyotes, Quadruped Wolfos, Takkuri and Keese. Make a bounty for the beast, or request a bounty to be thrown at you.
- You may ONLY have ONE monster based pet.
- Monster based pets can help in combat against other monsters and can help by either tracking or scouting. But they're not the greatest at communicating.
- No. There are not, and will not be any sort of dragons.
- Yiga can not have monster pets. They have their familiars, and familiars wouldn't quite like another monster so close to their master. Monsters can not have monster pets either.
