| I'm tired of the way you look at me | 1... 2..... 3 throw! A swing and a miss... Crystal's eyes narrowed as she snuck back between the buildings, feeling defeated until she heard a loud 'ow!' resound from where she threw the rock. Peeking back around the corner, she had apparently caused a chain reaction with the rock and some guys horse had kicked the asshole that had tried fucking her over in an attempt to send her to her death. She knew that monsters could be unpredictable, but not too unpredictable. She had decided to leave the bounty alone when instead of a group of bokoblins, she saw a rare group of moblins in the place. She escaped the area, came back here and had now spent all of the daylight harassing this guy from the building's shadows. He was definitely beyond paranoid at this point. Mission complete. Huffing through her nose out of irritation, the small girl stood up straight, starting to maneuver her way through the streets as she dodged people not paying attention to where they were going. There wasn't much left for her to do, now that the sun was almost completely set. With a heavy sigh, she moved to the old stone wall of the town and leaned back against it, over looking what she could see of Hyrule field. It wasn't long though, before she moved to the top of the wall, beyond annoyed with the merchants coming much too close to her with their horses as they moved around each other. Leon had advised her not to go on that mission. Rumors had spoken about how the guy was a scumbag -- sending unknowing travelers to their death, then picking the corpse clean of anything valuable later once the monsters had moved on. The lowest of the low, but nobody had been able to do anything about it yet. Leon had considered taking his blade to the bastards throat himself, but he decided against it. Not yet. He had to get proof that this was what the man wanted to do before he decided to take the mans life for himself.
However, when Crystal had left on the mission, Leon had decided to shadow her. Following her every movement, having prepared his Shiekah Gear to move completely silently. She hadn't noticed him -- at least he didn't think she did, and she had made it out with her head in tact. If she'd been in true danger, he'd have jumped in to her assistance, even if she didn't want him to. Not that it mattered. To him, her life was more important than her pride.
However, now here she was, fuming against the stone walls of Hyrule Village. The half-circle encampment had been a bustling trade city for one hundred years, standing proud and bright -- a symbol that the legendary Ganon would never win. Supposedly this had once been Hyrule Castle Town, which made sense due to the aged, crumbling Castle that overlooked the city. Walking up to Crystal -- still in his Shiekah Gear, Leon would smile, his long black hair blowing in the breeze. "Went bad, I take it?" He asked, acting dumb.

| I'm tired of the way you look at me | She had her arms crossed and an almost judgemental look in her eye as she started at his sheikah gear. He was in it as well. That explained quite a bit. "Explains why I felt followed the whole time." She practically grumbled motioning to the still 'armored' male. This guy had always given her trouble back in Kakariko, though to Crystal, you could give her trouble simply by looking at her wrong. Resettling her arms across her chest once again, she slumped against the wall some more. Oh well, at least it was a face she could trust. She knew he wasn't a Yiga, she threw a mighty banana at him once during a heated argument after their classes. "You know how it went, and I just spent all my daylight hours tormenting the fucker. He should think he's being haunted by now." She spoke carefully, making sure a merchant passing by was well out of ear shot before she spoke. Things were definitely slowing down. The ones who preferred to move at night were now mostly out of the town, and the ones who feared the dark were all inside the walls now, safe-ish from the nightmares that took to roaming the fields at night. Guards were swapping shifts and speaking of guards, a Sheikah and a Goron were walking up, armored, with weapons in hand. "Let's go find somewhere more quiet to talk?" She offered quietly, an eyebrow her mouth in a grin, though concealed by the mask and scarf. Leon Yoshida | when you think I'm not watching |

Leon crossed his arms across his chest, grinning and chuckling eerily mischeviously as she mentioned that the merchant should be feeling haunted by now. Though in response to her first statement, he shrugged. "What can I say? I got worried." He walked up to her as the Goron and Sheikah guard began to walk closer -- going to move to the west gate to guard for the night. When Crystal asked if he wanted to go somewhere quieter for the evening, Leon had to restrain himself from making a lewd remark. It was no secret he found Crystal to be attractive, always finding her 'tiny fury' to be rather adorable once they hit their teens.
"What'dya have in mind? Up on a roof somewhere with a few drinks?" He spoke, trying to talk her into laying down with him. Not in a sexual manner of course, but a nice relaxing evening of just chilling the fuck out. They'd travelled far to get to Hyrule Village and he felt the two of them deserved a break. Red eyes scanned the area around them, even if he was relaxed, he still wanted to keep an eye and ear open, still grinning under the mask.

| I'm tired of the way you look at me | Crystal gave the other Sheikah a dramatic eye-roll in response to his commentary. With a heavy shrug of her shoulders, she was at a total loss for words. This fucker always got the last word, it seemed. If you didn't count her screaming something random at him before running away. "Stop worrying about me, ok? I can handle myself" She muttered, shoving herself off the wall to meet the other sheikah halfway. With a lazy motion of her hand, she shrugged her shoulders one last time. "Sounds like a plan to me. I was just thinking about going cow tipping. But drinks sound better. Les' go." Rolling her shoulders, Crystal began to stroll casually to the bar in town. Thankfully, the weather had been a little on the hot side lately, so the place wasn't as crowded as it would usually be. It seemed like a lot of the merchants had gone straight to the bed in the inn nearby. Walking up to the person behind the bar, Crystal yanked her mask down to level with her scarf. When she asked him to stop worrying about her, he shook his head, chuckling. "Not gonna happen. We're partners for a reason, right? What kinda partner would I be if I left you to die?" He truly thought that. His personal affection for her aside, he'd never leave behind any comrade, and that went double for Crystal. And despite how much she clearly 'hated' him, the she always found herself at his side, putting up with him. They worked well together despite their differences.
Walking to the bar with her, he laughed about the cow tipping. "Isn't that a bit juvenile? You've always hated cows. Never could figure out why." Stepping into the tavern, he shut the door behind them as the bartender questioned Crystals age. The blonde beauty was getting heated as usual, and Leon placed a hand on her shoulder before stepping forward. "My friend and I are older than we look and we've traveled a long way. Can we just get our drinks?" Even if they looked young, the weapons the pair carried should be proof enough of their age.

| I'm tired of the way you look at me | She let out a snort at his comment and hiked an eyebrow at him. "It's not juvenile. It's a counterstrike. Payback." She commented, eyes sticking to the bartender as she glanced away from Leon's hand on her shoulder. All these years, and she hadn't grown hardly an inch. The small Sheikah narrowed her eyes back at the bartender finally getting her to stop staring and turn to Leon instead. 'of course. of course, just a moment' she commented before walking off to grab a couple of steins and fill em. Crystal tapped some dirt off of the bottom of her feet quietly, watching the bartender move, hiding her anger under a faux expression now, a friendly smile written across her face as if she didn't mean her almost threat. When she came back, she put the two steins down and Crystal had the Rupees needed to pay for hers already in her hand. After paying up to the bartender, Crystal waited for Leon and moved upstairs, opening the window and skillfully swinging out of it and up onto the roof with one hand, the other practiced to keep cups upright while she moved. This thing have some sort of lid just made it all the more simple to do so now. Once she settled on the roof, she looked to the pasture where the cows she wanted to tip had be led in side. "You got lucky this time." Leon Yoshida | when you think I'm not watching |
