One of the rito takes to the air, the other the earth to avoid the thrown rocks, an odd choice for their species and one with near disastrous consequences. As the purple rito hits the ground one of the medium sized rocks lands on her left leg. Luckily though it doesn’t feel too terribly damaged, nothing a little bit of magic can’t fix. However, she is pinned until something can be done about the rock. The hylian dashes towards the Talus, the only person here taking any immediate action against it. Zeke is successful in reaching a suitable rock face and climbing a fair distance before the talus responds. It swings its huge arm towards the hylian trying to climb above it, knocking him from the wall and making him skid across the ground a fair distance. This pain was not without reward though, at that closer range and fair height Zeke notices a particularly large spot of luminous stone on the top of the Talus’ “head”. If any part of this rock monster looked like a ‘weak point’ this was it.
Slow start, but at least some useful info was gathered that will help the group. Lavi - healthy Lelana - healthy Ezekiel Griswold - moderate blunt trauma / 'road' rash Kida Kidan - minor leg injury / pinned by rock Luminous Talus - missing the arm it threw, weak spot spotted at top of head (Zeke and potentially Lavi are aware depending on how high up he flew to avoid the rocks (I'll trust your judgement here))

Keep it... contained? Well, that was easy enough to say, at least. How he was supposed to do that, though, was rather beyond him. And then Zeke, who was apparently around, was... climbing the thing? Well, that was perhaps... one way to go about it... but for the fact that the Hylian got knocked off.
"I-I'll... try and stop it, or at least slow it down... there might be something on top of it," Lavi called out. Quickly drawing back a light arrow -- whether it would even do anything, he wasn't certain, but it had a better chance than his normal arrows -- he fired it down, then a second, to the joints in the Talus's legs. If he could bring it down, or at least slow it down, then maybe... he didn't feel he had much hope in harming the rocky creature besides, not with a bow and arrow.

As the purple Rito is pinned beneath the rock, Lelana found herself fortunate to have just missed the barrage of stones. She was nearby to the Rito and for the moment the stone shower had been redirected to the Hylian. He had been thrown but didn’t look seriously injured, Lavi was in the air and still out of harm’s way. This allowed her to focus on the purple Rito and her predicament.
Lelana quickly spanned the distance between herself and the Rito “Don’t strain against the rock, hold still…I am going to life the rock with an ice block and I don’t want to miscalculate based on your movement and further injure you.” Her tone was firm but it was not anger; nor was the sternness of her voice directed at the Rito in any fashion. The situation was tense and it was better to give clear directions than leave them open to ambiguity.
Lelana placed a hand on the snow near the side of the rock and a square of ice [1ftx1ft] raised its self out of the snow slowly and pushed the moderately sized rock up until the female Rito could pull their leg free.
Once the Rito freed itself she would then test the leg for any breaks. Fortunately, she didn’t find a break in the bone just bludgeoning damage from the fore of the impact. In its current condition the Rito would be unable to stand on the leg without shooting pains. “Just one more moment and I’ll have you fixed up…” She focused again using her magic to pull the water from the snow and create a small layer of water that circled itself around the injured portion of the leg. The deep dark tones to the Rito’s leg healed and lightened to a mild bruise.
“There, you’re ready to go I would suggest trying to keep as little weight off of it, shouldn’t be too hard as you are a Rito though.”

Time to spread my wings When he said he wanted to fly one day, this wasn't what he had in mind. But, beggers can't be choosers and if this was any other situation where there was less immediate danger, he'd be cheering as he flew through the air. Despite the bumps and the bruises, the possible broken bones.
After crashing into the ground, sliding across the grass and stone, Zeke pushed his self to his feet with a heavy groan. "There looks like there's some exposed ore of some sort on his head. It may be a softer mineral than the rest of his body." Zeke spoke up, unsure if anyone heard him. He'd be damned if they did and damned if they didn't, because the popping in his side when he exhaled after yelling wasn't the greatest sign he's ever gotten.
Something was definitely fractured, he'd have to be more careful... but at the same time, he was the least fragile thing here. Somebody had to distract it and take hits. They couldn't dodge forever. Once he regained his balance, he started looking for a better way of trying to get above it, someway of getting onto it's head.

Kida stands up after the zora heals her leg, "Thanks, I owe you a drink after this is over!" Kida smirks as she throws her helmet to the side, unlatches her breastplate, and unfurls her wings. "Well since I can't keep pressure on this leg I will have to take to the skies then.”
Kida winces as she puts pressure on the leg; she would have to move quick. Kida darts forward, pushing through the pain before she manages to take to the sky. As she is gaining speed to fly she hears a voice come from the hylian who had just been thrown by the creature. "A soft point on its head works for me! Kida smiles as she begins to gain altitude for a strike on this creature.
Kida begins to hover in the air, looking at the top of the creature’s head, Kida notices the softer rock the hylian had mentioned. "well I don’t have too many of these left, but if it does the job, it’ll be worth it.” Kida pulls out her bow and notches an arrow, which she lets fly towards the creature’s head.

Off in the distance the unmistakable rumble of rolling gorons can be heard. It would seem the promised gorons were nearly there. The brave, if perhaps slightly underprepared, adventurers would have their much-needed support shortly. The arrows fired upon the talus’ head by the Rito all find their mark, and the stone monster lets out a roar of pain as small chunks of the soft spot on its head chip off from the arrows. This agitating injury causes the talus to throw its remaining arm into the air towards the rito. For having no visible eyes, it is a pretty good shot, the avian-folk will be hard pressed to dodge completely. As the second arrow fired by the cardinal rito hits a rock on its leg it falls forward, crashing hard into the ground. This causes a large cloud of snow and loose soil to fly into the air, obscuring the earth elemental from those further away from it. Although Zeke could not ask for a better means to get on top of the thing, this seems to be deliberate on the talus’ part. The rock Lavi fired upon didn’t even really move when the arrow struck it. Lavi - healthy but in immediate danger. Lelana - healthy Ezekiel Griswold - moderate blunt trauma/ 'road rash' Kida Kidan - thanks to lelana's efforts your leg feels much better, although large rocks seek to harm you again. Luminous Talus - looks like they've discovered your weak spot! better be careful and keep that protected. A dense, almost supernatural looking, fog now surrounds the talus, ranged attacks will be slightly more difficult. The gorons are coming.

Ah... was there more coming? Well, something was coming, at least; he wasn't in the greatest position to determine what, anyway.
Not especially when he had more immediate problems to worry about.
Acting quickly as he could, Lavi shoved his wings down, flicking his body similarly to the side. Catching his feet a little on the oncoming rock, the Rito did his best to push himself along with the momentum... and got somewhere, at least. Not quite where he wanted to be, since it strained his legs some, and still twirled him quickly around to smack his side into the rock, but he wasn't too badly injured... at least, he didn't think so. He could still fly, at least.
"Ow, ow... I-I can't get to it around here! If we can... fly through it a little, maybe we can get rid of some of the snow and everything... so we still have a good shot?" he called out to suggest... at least, in the hopes that the other Rito was still alright, and whatever was coming wasn't bad.

As the purple Rito took off, Lelana redirected her attentions to locating the rest of her comrades. The Hylian was showing signs of injury but their distance was too far for her to be of immediate assistance, also given the fact that he was near the rocked monster. Lelana knew getting too close would be asking for a death sentence.
The sounds of rumbling rocks (not Talus related) came from behind her and Lelana perked up hoping it was Daruhan. Maybe he finally was done with his personal affairs and heard the rumors. Either way the sound of approaching Goron(s) was a relief. Lavi’s exclamation of pain drew her attention again and she hoped he was not badly injured, he seemed to be operating within normal parameters. She would make a point to keep close tabs on the Hylian and Lavi for any further injury development.
Seeing the Talus hurl more rocks up at the purple Rito, Lelana called out in warning “WATCH OUT!” as she backed off from the area the rocks were sure to come down. Once the rocks began to come down Lelana acted quickly zoning in on one of the smaller moderate sized rocks and as it came within the right distance to the ground she created an ice wall to meet the rock mid-air in an effort to push it back towards the Talus to knock it down.
Keep the beast down so the others could get close.

Time to spread my wings Oh, this would be a perfect opportunity to get closer to the Talus... that was if he didn't get a face full of snow and dirt. And especially since the Talus went down over obsurd reasons, he wasn't about to risk it. He wasn't well armed anyways, even his bow was shitty.
Zeke huffed and grimaced as he knocked one of his own arrows while he moved towards the cliff face once more, firing experimentally towards the 'soft' spot to see if he could get some sort of reaction out of it. Hopefully that rumbling would turn out to be some sort of help that was better equipped to handle this, cause he certainly wasn't.
The most he could do for now was stay close and draw it's attention. And he hadn't even done that right." "Fuck you, you gigantic stone bastard." Zeke huffed out in frustration as he moved to place a hand against the wall, positioning to keep his self as opposite as he could from the rest of his team. Mostly because the healer was right there with the Rito, and she wouldn't be any good to them dead.

Kida hears the sound of gorons approaching, but she has no time to think about gorons right now. More rocks were flying their way towards her body. Kida spreads her wings wide and focuses all of her energy on her flight. Flying towards the elemental wouldn’t be a common line of thought. The way the boulders were arching though would make it her best course of action.
"Heading towards it… not a bad idea." Kida smirks as she continues towards the mist. She knew roughly where the creature was so hopefully she would be able to see the creature coming. Kida readies her wind slash spell and waits for the creature to make a move and then she will release the spell towards it.
