Axel stared the beast down with a flat expression. He'd drawn blood from it, which was more than what he needed to see. Grabbing his wind cleaver with both hands, Axel twist at his waist, angling his sword and taking note of the movement pattern of the legs. Going for the legs would work, yea, but only if you hit the joints. She was moving to a more flattened stance, which means that her legs would be bent more than usual. Which means it should open up the joints more for an attack.
For now, he would swing his blade once with one smooth sweep. A practiced swing, cutting through the air and turning said air into a weapon itself. The air sliced towards the Gohma on the path that Axel had intended for it to go, looking to strike her on the joints. Any sort of exposed soft spot that couldn't be covered would give him the perfect opportunity to call Mot back into the battle to let the bear try to do some serious damage to the Gohma.
