Mission Notes: They took my friends, take them. Moderate: "These stupid monsters wiped out my friends. The only reason I escaped is that they all gave me a chance. I'd go back and get my revenge myself... but I'm just not a fighter like my friends were." The reward below says 150 Rupees if you bring back the leader of the monster's pelt that he wore. States that it was different, you'll know it when you see it. He's a traveler who bases down in Rito Village. He says the monsters are in the Scablands.
Hmm, this was no good. Daruhan didn’t like not knowing what he was going to get into with a bounty. He’d gone to rito village to speak with the person putting the job out. Unfortunately, he couldn’t remember what kind of monsters took his friends. Panic and terror did strange things to the memory. He did, however, remember exactly where the mystery monsters dragged his friends and him of too. He knew it was dangerous to go alone, so he took a brush and left notes in Rito Village and Hyrule Village detailing where he would be stationed to await additional party members. As he waited he broke off pieces of a nearby rock and fed them to Skoll, his large volcanic quad wolfos, gently stroking its fiery fur. He was sure to take a few bites himself of course. They were an interesting treat, not quite what he was used to, but the comparative cold added a unique flavor to these rocks and he loved it. It would do until more able adventurers arrived.

If he were to be honest... he wasn't much up for this. Well, frankly, he was never much up for this sort of thing in general. And yet, similarly, he wasn't generally up for leaving things alone when he was asked for help. They knew his vague reputation, such as it were, from Rito Village, perhaps... well, he wasn't certain, but it was rather uncomfortable all the same returning near the place again. Sooner or later, someone was bound to really notice, perhaps he'd even be in trouble, but... here he was anyway. Only to be greeted by one familiar sight, and one very much not so familiar. Was that... a Wolfos? And was he petting it?
"I-is that... yours...?" Lavi nervously asked, after calmly settling on his feet a short, but safe, ways off, his eyes warily fixed on the Wolfos. As long as... the creature stayed away from him, it'd probably be fine, so far as he, at least, was concerned. "And, erm... I guess you're one of the others that that person asked for help...?" he asked in turn, daring to glance away from Skoll and over to Daruhan, at least for a moment. Until, at least, it might be confirmed that the canine wasn't something he'd personally have to worry about.

Lelana had received the message from Daruhan the evening he had left for the Rito Village and she had quickly packed her things and pursued him. She had worked with the Goron on more than one occasion and they made a good team. He had never steered her wrong and had her respect, he was an admirable leader and if he asked for her aid she would be ready to lend it. She had inquired at the nearest inn for the red-headed Goron’s whereabouts and was promptly directed to him.
When she did locate him, she saw the cardinal red Rito that she had made acquaintance with when fighting the Lynel in Akala. She smiled lightly landing deftly on a rock by Daruhan’s right shoulder.
“Greetings friends,” she said smiling brightly “I see you have a new companion Daruhan.” she said as she peered at the large wolfos, then looking to Lavi she let out a joyous laugh.
“Oh Lavi, it’s so good to see you this side of Hyrule. I hope your travels and studies have been well.”
Lelana had learned in her travels that she prefered the company of others, and though it was liberating to travel by oneself and study all of the plants of Hyrule she would much rather share her discoveries with companions. ● Daruhan Lavi ● Lelana is so happy to see everyone!!!●

Daruhan was sitting, enjoying his snack and petting Skoll, whom was finally comfortable enough with him to allow for short bursts of affection. Then a familiar and welcome sight showed up, it was his friend from the Lynel fight in Akkala, Lavi. He smiled as the rito addressed him, “Ah, Hello there, Lavi. Yes! It’s quite a story how Skoll and I became friends. Happiest of circumstances I can tell you. A tale I can recount for you later should you wish.” He could tell the rito wasn’t too comfortable around Skoll just yet, and honestly, he couldn’t blame him. Skoll could tell too and let out a ‘playful’ growl and took a half jump towards the rito, tail wagging fiercely as he landed. The only sign he was playing. He suspected the rito would jump back or be frightened. He smelled a little bit scared. There as a familiar landing of feet behind him and a friendly voice. Looking up and beaming, “Yes, I was just telling Lavi. This is my new friend, Skoll. It’s quite a story how we met. It involves being ambushed at the Spring of Power, fighting our past, and rock roast.” He chuckles, “It’s just not a good story without rock roast!”
Adopting a more serious tone. “I hope you are both well. I couldn’t be more pleased it is the two of you who answered my summons. I have answered a call to action from a person in trouble. Apparently monsters from a nearby cave killed some of his friends, and now he want’s revenge. I intend to assist him in this. I do not know the details of what kind of monsters we will be dealing with.” Smiling again, “But I know whatever they are won’t stand a chance against the 3 of us!” Skoll barks indignantly. “The four of us!”

"Ah... y-yes, they have, Miss Lelana. On cooking and magic," the Rito offered upon Lelana's greeting after the Zora herself arrived -- once again, the three of them, it appeared, with the only one missing being the Hylian. Forgetting his nervousness -- or at least, some of it -- he offered a little bow in greeting to the other two in turn. At least... that was how he knew to greet familiar faces, or really just about anyone at all in situations like... well, just about any but that Lynel incident when the creature had already been in sight, which had required him to put aside a bit of etiquette in lieu of any battle preparations. Now, at least, was rather calmer... but for his still mild nervousness about the Wolfos, lessened, at the very least, by Daruhan's assurance.
Which, frankly, the canine approaching him further wasn't much helping, though perhaps to his credit, he only took one quick step back.
"Revenge... isn't something I really like..." Lavi admitted, though his thoughts weren't drawn off for very long. "...but I'm not going to just leave monsters alone, or anyone they took. Especially so close to my old home. So you'll have my bow... and my magic," he offered with a little nod. Perhaps not the most determined, in frankness -- it was rather hard to get over something like nerves -- but at the least, he'd already proven he could fight against even something like a Lynel, in conditions poor for him, in spite of it.

Lelana’s face became more serious; “Avenging ones friends is to be admirable. Never leave a comrade behind for it is betraying their memory as well as telling to your true nature. I feel for this man, the loss of his companions. It’s just as well he is incapable of enacting his vengeance as when sought in rage will blind oneself to the dangers and will then become careless.” Her voice had lost the lilting notes as she spoke about such serious matters. She was one such person that would seek to enact justified retribution as it was the way of the Great Mother Hylia to not allow disgrace upon ones comrades, if one did it was a disgrace upon ones true character and was greatly disfavored by her. After all, Hylai was a Goddess that valued courage and wisdom so highly that her chosen vassals were tightly bound up in their embodiments. “However,” her tone lightening again “I do hope this is more of a rescue mission than pure death. Hopefully, at least one has survived.” She would always be hopeful until given a reason that justified her hopes being misplaced. This mentality is what allowed her to press on when the lands of Hyrule wanted to beat her down. DaruhanLavi

Getting to his feet, “Yes, revenge is nasty business. Capturing and potentially killing someone else’s companions is worse still though.” He looked at the zora, such sweet innocence. From what the client said he watched his friends sacrifice themselves, so he could flee. He hadn’t the heart to bring that up though. Hope was a bright fire that needn’t be extinguished needlessly. “I pray you are correct. But we waste their time sitting here talking about it. Let’s head out.”
Pulling out the map provided by the client he began walking, “It should be over here.” After taking several steps, the goron realized he had the map sideways. Scratching the back of his head and flipping the map, “Actually. It’s this way. Sorry, I’m not very good with maps.” Quickly turning around to catch up with Skoll, who had been going the correct way the whole while and had turned to wait for them. He didn’t need a map; his nose had caught the trail.

He supposed... that was one way to look at it. He still didn't like it, but he'd come along to take care of a monster issue anyway... he didn't really have to wholly agree, did he?
"Yes... at least," Lavi agreed with a little nod, only to awkwardly pause for a moment and glance back between Skoll and Daruhan as the Wolfos seemed to be hanging back. In... the right direction, it appeared. Something about its nose, the Rito guessed... or maybe instinct? He certainly wouldn't know. "I can also... fly ahead a little, if I need to..." he offered... though given the meeting point, he didn't doubt they'd find the place soon enough anyway.

Lelana stepped in stride beside Lavi, she had read his body language and realized she may have been too forceful with her words, also that Lavi seemed to be learning to adapt to social exchanges. She could relate with that, she had been required to be meek and silent back in the domain and she had gone against that, becoming quite outspoken with her opinions. Sometimes they came out as too outspoken. “Sorry Lavi” she said lightly “I can be too opinionated at times and with that forceful.” She smiled sweetly at the vibrant Rito “Also, feel free to disagree, just because I am outspoken doesn’t mean I am always right.” If there was one thing Lelana tried to be was humble with her opinions. She did not want to be boastful, arrogant or so close minded to others perspectives that she isolated herself from learning valuable lessons. She watched Daruhan for a moment and then proceeded to follow after Skoll mildly concerned that the Wolfos might be going astray. When Daruhan turned around muttering embarrassedly she smiled softly. The Goron was delightfully cumbersome in his mannerisms but a strong and capable fighter. He even held potential to be a worthy leader. Looking back to Lavi, she nodded in agreement “If you do fly ahead try to stay close that way if anything goes awry we can aid you.” LaviDaruhan

Walking cheerfully Daruhan turns to the cardinal rito, “For sure, if we say something you don’t agree with, speak up! I don’t mind, and I don’t think Lelana here would either. Also, if you want to fly ahead some that’d be great. A pair of eyes in the sky always helps out.” They were making pretty good progress through the scablands on foot. Daruhan was curious to know what sort of things the Rito would see on his flight. Ideas started bubbling up in his mind. They could make quite a team if they all banded together. Hyrule could use something like this.
