I'm not made of stone I'm not defending-downward descending Falling further and further away Getting closer every day I'm on the wrong side of heaven and the righteous side of hell
+ @tagged1 + @tagged2 + Yara braces against the push, throws up a wall to protect Jett from the light. As yara braces she tries to pierce the woman with an earth spike from behind. When the winds die yara charges through the light and cuts to the left to keep out of a straight line of sight swinging her scythe at the woman once in range.
jett is shielded by the rock wall | The instantaneous response sent everything to reactions in an instant. Yara made the split-second call seeing the flash of light to throw a wall up in front of Jett to shield him from the harsh beams and he managed to skid to a halt bracing against the wall. It had been close for him but his master had his protection at the front of her mind even during this battle. He felt the surge of determination from her asking him to yield with caution. Both users used light magic and to what extent for the Deku was yet to be seen. Yara couldn’t have her partner being injured, or even worse dispelled. Yara then braced herself against the push of the winds as she skidded a few feet back; bringing her arms to cross over her chest face using the scythe and her gloved hand to take some of the brunt. Despite all her anchoring she had learned she was still a light weight individual, she left a pretty deep gouge in the earth with her feet though. Yara used the force of her skidding and the Hylians focus on the gust to send an earth spike to shoot up from behind the Hylian, again looking for a target on the woman’s back. Her vision was obscured but she could feel the Hylian’s location through the vibrations in the earth.
Yara mentally ticked off the light spear, the rock wall, and now the wind element for the Hylian; not to mention she was doing everything in her power to keep Yara away. Smart choice. Yare knew it would do no good throwing herself relentlessly against an unyielding wall. She had yet to break a smidge past Axels when they trained in combat.
She could do this though, if she kept her calm and let Ganon’s will guide her as she leaned on the training that had been so unrelentingly impressed upon her. If anything, she had learned to adapt her Master’s unrelenting determination in battle. Punch when the opponent is attacking…she had already used her window of opportunity for that to throw the rock wall up in front of Jett and brace herself against the gust. The ball of light now obscuring Yara’s sight she would have to focus more on skill with seeing through the earth instead of seeing through her eyes.
As the winds died down Yara didn’t wait to see if her spike met its target and she charged forward again through the light and then cut her path to the left sharply trying to come in at an angle that would force the woman to deal with her spike or face her. Both her hands gripped her sword now, right hand gloved in fluid stone, waiting to strike once she was in range.
These two may have disabled Jett’s ability to bombard them if that light ball was up, but they didn’t detract from Yara’s sight. If anything, they only made it easier for her to focus, to listen and watch as what she had seen as a handicap once was turning out to be a boon. Ganon knew what he was doing with her, she would strive hungrily to not disappoint him.
She was quick, she was silent, and she didn’t need clear visuals to act.

Amelia set to focusing on keeping the ball up and going while Muiri watched Yara run in. Her back was to the light, she had the clear, visual advantage and was well able to catch Yara's blade with her own. The Hylian and the Deku had been able to dodge the earth spike again with ease. Both of them were light on their feet on top of being attuned to earth in some form or another. As long as they were on their toes, they'd be able to feel the earth shift in their immediate area. Muiri held her blade steady with ease, looking down at the Yiga in front of her with an ever stoic expression. You weren't half bad, but she'd seen better. You weren't the Hagane family, and so far, you had yet to impress her. She made a "hmph" sound through her nose as she held her blade steady, feet firmly planted on the ground. Neither one of the pair made a sound, it's almost as if they were used to being quiet.
- Yara - Close but no cigar with that rock spike. Amelia is holding the ball steady and Muiri caught your blade with hers. You're now close up though.

+ @tagged1 + @tagged2 + yara recalls Jett. yara prepares to shoulder into the woman and punch her or set off a quake should the woman dodge | Yara’s face remains impassive though her eyes darken. Who the hell did this bitch think she was? And how in the bloody hell did her test have to be against someone that shared Axel’s training? What were the odds…it was as if Ganon had a sense of ire…or at least someone did. Yara recalls Jett into his shadows damn them and this light. Yara would have to push the Hylian away from the Deku
Yara presses against the womans blade giving her the option if going back into her companion, step into Yara who was prepared to duck and ram punch her gloved hand into the woman's abdomen or she would have to side step and Yara would listen to the woman's movement in the earth and if she moved she would release a ripple of magic into the earth using Quake. Either way no matter what the woman did she was setting it off when she pushed the woman back so that she could get rid of the fucking little tree stump
Yara knew there was only one way to bring a giant down, whether in stature our spirit, and that was to cut them at the seat of their stance. Take away their foundation and it makes them easier to topple. Her target could only deal with one of them at a time and Yara needed to press the Hylian away from the Deku so she could use Jett to his potential. Yara knew that the Deku presented a problem but right now Jett was shielded from the light ball and Yara could see despite it.
Something had to give in all of this. She pushed relentlessly and was determined that it was not her. | © seadra of gs |

Muiri used another burst of wind to throw her self into the air, breaking sword contact and getting off of the ground before Quake could upset her balance anymore. "So you're not entirely inept." It was odd for a Yiga to be so well trained in anything other than earth. As she braced herself to come back down from the spell's push, Amelia was already on the move. The little Deku had let the ball of light down and hopped away a few steps. They were now separated but the Deku didn't seem to mind, and neither did Muiri. That was up to you to notice or not. The little wooden girl paid no mind to Muiri actually speaking, and instead, kept herself rooted into the earth, feeling for disturbances that she could defend herself from, or attack if need be. She wasn't a helpless little scrub, contrary to what most people believed about her race.
- Yara - Amelia is on the move / Muiri is amused by you / Waiting game continues

+ @tagged1 + @tagged2 + Yara uses Rock buster as a smockscreen as the hylian comes down and punts the rock to the deku while jett attempts to grab the hylian | It took everything in Yara’s control to not react to this woman’s snide remark and even more control to not let her rage consume her in her frustration. She didn’t respond though and focuses on her element to keep the calm façade on her face; she didn't need the silence or lecture to involve a lesson about keeping her emotions under wraps.
As the woman pushed herself up with the wind Yara responded quickly stomping into the ground bringing up a compressed rock. As the woman came down Yara released Jett from his shadows behind the Hylian to wrap his monstrous arms about the target while she used her actions with the rock as an attempt at distraction.
As Jett grabs for the Hylian; Yara punts the rock at the Deku in an efforts to disorient the scrub.

Sadly for Yara, distracting the Hylian with one thing didn't distract the Deku from the thing she was keeping a look out for to begin with. Summoning a light spear in her hand, the Deku launched the weapon towards Jett. It was either hit, or give up trying to grip Muiri. The rock would end up connecting with Amelia though. It didn't catch her off guard, so it wasn't as effective, but it did get a low 'umph' noise from her as it struck her rooted form. She pulled herself from the roots afterwards and set her stance, ready. She'd taken worse hits from the Guardian clean up. Muiri let out a grunt as she arched her back, the flash of light having caught the corner of her eye. She whipped her head around just long enough to catch sight of Jett. Turning back to you, her primary target, she summoned a light spear in her free hand as she swung her sword down in a swift, violent arc. Trickery wasn't going to work when it was a two on two.
- Yara - They've both seen this shit before and have fought harder than what they're being given. Death Machines > Pretty much almost everything / Amelia has moderate blunt damage to her arm. / Muiri is done playing around

+ @tagged1 + @tagged2 + The hylian may be done playing but yara has been waiting.
jett ducks below the arch of the spear from the Deku and swings his arm to bash at the hylian.
Yara swings up to catch the blade with her scythe while being ready for a jab from the spear with her gloved hand while preparing an earth spire should the two become locked and try to impale the hylian | Jett saw the imminent danger of the light spear and recalibrated for his dodge attempt of ducking down below the spear to swing his arms at the Hylian, not the side with the light spear, and shove her off her path; if not cause a little disorientation. He kept low watching the Deku but with every intent of slamming his large arms into the Hylian’s back as presented.
Yara was ready for the Hylian and swing her hooked blade up to catch the Hylian’s downward arch. Should the Hylian jab at Yara with the light spear Yara would take her gloved non-sword hand and use it to catch the woman’s spear.
If the two become locked Yara will use earth spire in efforts to impale the Hylian as they are locked.
In the event Jett manages to knock the Hylian off her course Yara will step out of the swing from the Hylian and in doing so stomp up an earth spire in efforts to impale the woman.

Muiri and Amelia still had each others backs, while separated. Amelia uses the roots to create a barrier between Jett and her companion, throwing a spear at the beast, piercing the monstrous ape's hide and flesh. She let out an angry huff. She was a healer, but she could defend her friend as well when the going got rough. They'd been through hell together and they weren't going to go down easy to the likes of you and your ape. Muiri let out a grunt, watching and reading your movements. Instead of the spire coming up, she stomped the ground with greater force, shoving the spike downwards to stop it from coming up beneath her. Using her body weight, she moved under the weapons, moving to toss your weapon up, one foot lagging behind to kick her own earth spire up, striking you and knocking you back with a considerable amount of force. They both have clearly had enough.
- Yara - "Muiri is done playing around" At a certain point, over dodging becomes power playing. This is your warning to start taking more balanced hits. No one is invincible. - You've received moderate blunt damage. Jett has received heavy damage from a spear.
- I'm enforcing the dodge rule now
- Mana limits weren't a thing when this started, so I won't enforce them now. But I will enforce the old rule of remember how much magic your character can realistically use
- I'm enforcing the old and new and will always be rule that foot soldiers are actually kinda dumb. No normal one should've avoided damage for this long.

+ @tagged1 + @tagged2 + Whoops-anyway moving onward ever more...Jett's taking an angry swing at the deku with a gnarly wound on his shoulder.
Yara has a nice gaash on her leg and is taking a swing at Muiri | here were so many points in those next split moments that Yara realized she had focused too hard on all of the little loopholes that she failed to watch the bigger picture. First when the roots went up barring her from Jett and then the agonizing pain that raked through his shoulder as he was pierced by a light spear; her immediate instinct to dispel him as he wheeled around to swing his good arm at the rooted Deku. This distraction fractured Yara’s attention on you, her alarm clearly evident on the young Yiga’s face before she lost the grip on her blade, another mistake, and was sent reeling back from the force of the earth spire jutting up to slice open the outside of her thigh forcing her stumble back and slide to the ground.
The grit of the dirt and leaves digging into the open wound drawing out a low grunt with the scent of blood now in the air, even though it was her blood, sparking the feral animal inside of her. She was going to have to take a hell of a beating to get her to run but this shit had to stop and she had to stop being a fuck up. It was the heavy ‘thunk’ of her scythe coming down that snapped her out of the red that threatened to blind her. She growled grabbing her blade and pulling herself up to square off with you. Yara wasn’t here to impress, fuck this bitch, she needed to stop being something that she wasn’t as the red seeped back into her vision she released a feral growl and charged swinging her blade at you. | © seadra of gs |

The feral growl was more than enough to let the Hylian know that she had struck the gold mine of nerves. She deflected the blades swing, keeping her own blade on yours and remained calm about her movements. Her eyes were as cold as steel as she stared you down." Once Sheikah or not, this girl had lived her life having to move fast on her feet, and it was now shown that Yiga, while yes, could threaten her life, were far from the worst she had handled. Foot soldiers? No worse than the exploding death machines she and her Deku companion once faced. Admist the calm movements though, her arm was tensed where she had caught the blade and she moved in, throwing a sharp hook with her free hand, aiming straight for the bridge of your nose. Amelia's own attempts to block the swing weren't much, but she did release her rooted hold on the ground, allowing her light weight body to fly backwards and into the brush, where she remained still, keeping her small wooden hands together as she waited to see what Jett's next movement would be.
- Muiri deflected the feral charge and is throwing a sharp jab towards the bridge of Yara's nose / Relatively healthy. mana reserves feeling low
- Amelia let herself be thrown into the dense jungle behind her and is now waiting still and silent / Heavy blunt damage spread across her body
- Yara Moderate blunt damage - wound on leg / Jett heavy piercing damage on his shoulder
